Can I Freeze Peppers???

    Has anyone frozen hg peppers? did you Blanche them 1st? Did they go soggy when you used them??

    UPDATE,
    As of today 180919. my granddaughter is now my official granddaughter, adoption finally granted

    Peppers can be frozen but I use them in cooking rather than as fresh after they've been frozen.

    I just chop them up and freeze in wee portions.

    I also only use them in cooking (can go straight into whatever you're doing from frozen) as they aren't as good.

    Mine are green and big but still not red. There are quite a few and I intend to roast them, take the skins off and then freeze in portions to add to pasta sauce etc
