  • no car payments up to date.. and yea im just not seeing the wood for the trees . I have the lloyds charges now so will apply for reclaim on them.. and work through the other charges next, then tackle the ppi . sorry so many questions... what do you u think of ppi reclaiming companies had a chap on fone other nite seemed plausible no win no fee but they take 25 % of claim
  • Do you have priority debt arrears(mortgage or rent, council tax, utilities)?

    Hi natweststaffmember

At the moment I'm not arrears, I'm managing to keep the payments up for my rent, just about keeping up with council tax although they have agreed to move my payment due date to the end of the month rather than the beginning, utilities again just about keeping up with them, I have monthly direct debits set up for utilitiy bills, last month I had to cancel the direct debits and pay them at the middle of the month, I have again set up the direct debits but I am finding it increasingly difficult. I have family lending me money so I can keep up with payments.

    Thanks

At the moment the bank will not see you as being in hardship I would think but you have to ask them the question. Do you have any credit card, store card, or catalogue charges?

  • As advised,I moved my savings account from I.N.G.when the 12 month interest offer expired. One click and £100k. transfered to hsbc, my linked bank. When I had done my homework, I decided to go to Citibank but could not transfer funds. On visiting hsbc,I had to see three people including the manager, go home to get i.d, and was charged £30 for the electronic transfer! I was also questioned as to where I got the money. (I have banked there for many years). I was pressured to see their "indipendent" advisor but declined as he was too busy to see me for at least 3 weeks. Is it me?????.
  • Hi
I put in a claim with the halifax for my fees to be refunded because myself and my partner are suffering from financial hardship. the account that we did have with them we can no longer access we did have arrears on that account but have an arrangement through a company that we pay a amount every month. I just rang the halifax because we hadnt got the money from them yet they are not sending a cheuqe they have put the money in the account that we have the arrangement for. We cant get the money out of the account because it no longer exsists it hasnt been used for a couple of years.:mad:

no idea what the question is so no to charges and banks are selling places not what they used to be.

Anything reclaimed on bank charges under financial hardship would be refunded into the account where it had come from.

Ha ha thankyou Natwest , your a helpful dude. Have been in touch with Bank to get address for reclaiming charges and also PPI . so will write another and see where that takes me . I added up the possible charges and can ask for about £2200. I only have £450 on my overdraft and didnt pay full loan payment which is £99 (only paid £60) so £39 adrift , rest would help to make other payments including the rent arrears ,
    :T
Keep you posted appreciate your input

    Happy xx
