  • Hi i am struggling to make all my payments each month and repeatedly go over my overdraft, unfortunatly some of my debts are due to money my friends & folks lent me when i split up with my ex and they helped me sort myself out with the mortgage and stuff, but obviously they want their money back. If i put a claim in for financial hardship would this be taken into account or not? Also would they take any notice as all my priority debts are up to date.... if only they would pay out for us then the whole world would be a better place for everyone.
I personally doubt that they would but I would negotiate lower payments to them if it prevents you going over your overdraft but ask the bank the question.

I am an ex natwest person but a bank charges veteran so to speak.
Can you clarify if there is rent arrears not being paid?
Is the council tax arrears not being paid?
My gut feeling is possibly that they will say no to financial hardship cos you are paying the bills and a bit more ie you have more income and the charges are not eating into the budget to cover them. However, you have to ask HSBC the question and we will see what they say.

ahhhh, this now becomes more interesting, is the HP on the car you use to go to work with?(that moves it to a priority debt :D )
Any credit card charges at all to reclaim?

So should i submit a hardship claim to LLoyds i have the od and loan with them so any charges i would be happy to offset anyway . any monies is a bonus

Then send letter asking for charges , re capital one i have ppi on my card have had card since 1994 , should i claim them on that as well on treat seperate , i have so many things i could do . so many debts but equally a few paths like this to generate income back

Its all a lot to take in and deal with at the same time, i need a cunning plan

And take your time. You said you have arrears on the car you use for work, is that right? Is the arrears being paid off?
