i got a digifusion FVRT145 a couple years back, so wish i held on fr better deals!
twin heads, 20 hours recording,.. simple enough, though some remote buttons soon wear out (FF/rewind), and the unit freezes if you flip channels too quick!Long time away from MSE, been dealing real life stuff..

Twin heads? Does it take VHS tapes, or something...?:cool:0

Unfortunately, you will need a new Freeview box or TV AND THEY ARE NOT EVEN AVAILABLE YET. Go to www.freeview.co.uk for more information.
That probably makes it a good time to get an SD freeview box!0 -
tiwn hard drives i meant! (think).. can record one show, and watch another 'live', or on pauseddelay, to easily skip the ads..
actually with mine you can be recording two shows, and ALSO be watching something you made earlier..Long time away from MSE, been dealing real life stuff..

Does this fit the bill http://www.amazon.co.uk/Panasonic-DMR-EX773EBK-160GB-Recorder-Freeview/dp/B0038VZXMS/ref=sr_1_3?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1306873372&sr=1-3
I have a Panasonic DMR-EX78... looks similar to the above model, but is now obsolete. Excellent machine, very reliable, can copy 4 hours of recordings from HDD to DVD in 30 minutes.0 -
the prices dont seem to have gone down at all since the article was first written which is a shame. does this look like a good deal? i would prefer a 50 quid refurb but cant find any
