For a penny under £80. Its a Thompson a recognised make but I'm not sure how good it is. There is also a subscrption deal with Sultana, Santana if you want it.

These look like good deals - I am looking for a pvr that I can plug a memory stick into so I can watch films...

I absolutely adore my Humax. Can't fault it. I've got the 9200T -160Gb. That's about 70 telly programmes which sounds a ridiculously large number but it isn't! Once you've got some faves you don't want to lose and a few series building up, and some you are recording for your son, you are full!!! Go for the bigger one.

Spend the money and buy a Humax — you really can't go wrong. And only £99 from https://www.humaxdirect.co.uk

Probably one of the best things I've ever bought. And forget the fuss about Sky+ as it doesn't even have a twin tuner.

I am thinking of getting one of these as my DVD recorder has broken. I have a card in my current freeview box for Setanta. How would I operate this with the new machine ?

    Hi
Just reading this with lots of interest. However, can I go back to basic techy stuff. We are interested in Sky+ but are baulking at the cost I don't want to threaten to leave cos I can't do with the hassle. Are these boxes the equivilant and can I still subscribe to Sky? Can anyone advise please.

I've just ordered a the DigiFusion FVRT150 for £44 with delivery. Not sure about MArtin's Money Saving email now as it made me impulse buy! But have wanted something like this for a while now and had no idea they were available so cheap.

Sorry, my mistake. What I meant was — you can't record two channels and watch another channel (only something you've previously recorded); on a Humax you can record two channels and watch a third.
