I am confused I looked in your diary and as far as I can see its a IA fan club not even any talk of debt. So I am assuming its stuff said off board.

But there is more life to money saving and definately more to life than any forum so if its getting you down get rid till you feel better!

I know I shouldn't let them get to me. But it's really hard sometimes when you're working your !!! off and admit to not being perfect and everyone jumps on your back.
Rayday.... if I'm totally honest you were one of the ones who criticised me last time and made me feel like this... so making snide remarks about it being a IA fanclub is riduculous. If you don't like it, don't read it.

I don't know whats brought this on...just back from holiday, how could you possibly let anyone down.
I'm sure I for one have posted that when you were at your height of attacking your debt you were forgetting to live a bit too. So what if its all slipped a bit? being debt free is not a race. life is for living too. having read about poor weller this morning, there are some things in life which are more important. fun with your family, fun with your band....
I'd miss seeing your posts. x

Oi missus, you can't leave us !!!
Sar, please dont even think about going, okay yes maybe you're going through a phase of spending more money but that shows all of us that the df road is a long one and its not easy!! It is part of your journey and that has, so far, been a varied and interesting one! You've achieved so much over the last couple of years and you're not finished yet, so, go grab a cup of tea, play with the girls in the sunshine, play your bass and then get back on here later with an update ... doesn't have to be financial but keep us updated with your day, you've lots of mates here who'd really miss you if you went :o:o:o

By the way you dont have to worry I wont be sending my hubby round for a consultation (or should that be confrontation?) :D LOL

All the best and hope you feel better soon and your finances improve.

Thanks for all the help, critisism and advice youve given me. Its helped open my eyes.

    Best wishes

 (goes to hide before getting lynched).

This message was meant in a friendly banter kind of way not as a nasty snide remark! No offence meant :o

I guess this is my kind of public apology/confession. It sounds really naff and up my own a*se but there's a lot of people who read my diary and take some kind of inspiration from it when trying to deal with their own debts. At the moment due to various circumstances I'm really not doing well at all and if anything am letting everyone down on there as they look to me to be this shining example of everything MSE. Sad I know. The last time I posted on my diary about our debt it seemed to upset a lot of people who then started attacking and criticising me as if I'm not allowed to be human, which is part of the reason I haven't been posting much on my diary anymore. Yes, our debt has increased and ok yes it may have run away with us a bit but it's almost as if I'm not allowed to make mistakes and be human.
This is why for the time being, I'm going to resign from MSE. I'll probably come back, but it may be under a different alias as I feel now that the immoral_angeluk name itself has overtaken me as a person and people look to the name for inspiration rather than seeing that I'm just a normal person who's trying to sort out her debt and if I'm honest it's very overwhelming at times and puts a lot of pressure on me to be perfect.

I'll probably lurk but won't post as I like to keep up with what everyone's up to, especially with recent events. I'm sorry if I've let alone down.

    Love to everyone.

    Sarah/IA x

The wobble when the severe pressure on the finances is off and the relaxing of the spending and then reigning it back in is part of the process.... without that you're just on the slimfast meal replacement weirdy diet.... and you've got to figure it out for yourself.... All those "I'm back" threads ring a bell?

The microanalysis of your life I agree must be a nightmare....

I'm sure you will be fine though and I still believe in you even if you are a scary gothy tattooed type of tinkerbell.... you aren't a victim and you're the one with the capacity to change things and make your life better. Remember it's a long game....
  • Oh IA I can only second SOME of the other posts -stuff em! You are an inspiration, yes, I like the fact that I can identify with you a bit and that you are human and sometimes use a credit card even when you know better - it certainly makes me reassured that I am not 'bad' for not concentrating on money 24/7. Because none of us can do that and stay sane. Really. I have not posted an up to date SOA for about 6 months because I can't face it. The fact that most DFW people are NORMAL makes me feel okay about this. Yes a kick up the a*se might be what I need as well but really the fact that DFW is not a bunch of superheroes (well... maybe some are actually!) makes it okay to post here and say things like 'I screwed up today, I spent more than I should have'

    I miss the confessionals!

I don't know you very well but I really hope you don't leave, you bring spirit to the board.
