I have also knit 4 Sheldons in different colours for the
little ones I have 4 grandchildren, Sheldon the Turtle is a free pattern...
For my DIL the Bravo Bag...
Then my 2 sons will be having knitted daleksand knitted felted clogs, Fiber Trends pattern. Last year the slippers were a huge success. I have knit the Monkey of the TV for a grown son, use the word grown up cautiously and I have knit Bob the Builder for my oldest grandson last year when he was almost 2. My kids are used to mums creations so now they sometimes put a request in!! (Just had a thought maybe thats to stop me making really cheesy or aweful presents)
My 2 grandsons will each receive a knitted Noahs ark and animals, Alan Dart pattern. The 2 little girls will each receive a knitted doll, using cotton yarn for them, with knitted clothes etc.. I have done the knitted skirt as they are both young babies, 3 month and 9 month at christmas I just love my family having a hand made christmas present.

Hi everyone. I haven't posted on this thread before but I am a lurker and like to see all the lovely items people make.
My name is Pam, I'm 30 years old and mum of two (girl aged 3, baby boy 5 months).
I make cake toppers from non toxic polymer clay. I started this when my sister agreed to make her son's engagement cake but was stressing about how to decorate it nicely. I made an open heart ring box with the ring inserted. It was lovely, pity I didn't take a photo to show you. Since then I make 18th and 21st toppers and I am thinking about doing bride and grooms for wedding cakes.
I also make my own cards and like jewellery making.Supporting the Childhood Eye Cancer Trust0 -

hi
my name is jane ,I'm 34 and I'maddicted to craft ... there feel better for that .
I am married to a very understanding hubby and have 4 children aged 4,12,13 and 17 and a surrogate son who is 5 months old.
I am mostly a scrapbooker/cardmaker, but have in the past cross stiched, and crocheted, - i wish i could knit but despite being taught by my grandmother as a child I just can;t remember it. I have been known to make nappy cakes and paint glass - i'll try my hand at anything given the chance.I am journeying to a debt-free life.
Our estimated debt-free date is January 2040. I'm on a mission to bring that date closer!

emergency fund - £00.00

This section is a bad influence - I thought this board was supposed to save me money, not make me spend it?
I've just been out and bought a sewing machine. The way I figure it, knitting is too slow for me (I'm impatient), and I don't know enough crochet yet, so the only way I'm going to be able to do handmade stuff for Christmas is if I sew!
Wish me luck!In a better financial position than ever before (thank you MSE!). Moved back to Scotland and now trying to keep debt-free!0 -
hi, im clair, 30yrs old married with 4 children who are 7,4,2 and 12 days. up until a couple of mths ago i was making bridal tiaras with matching jewellery. i make them with freshwater pearls and swarovski crystal. i really enjoy making them and they where very popular, but with the children and pregnancy my time was getting less to make them. i am hoping to continue when the baby is a couple of mths old. unless i decide to try something else. i too love the nappy cakes, if anyone has any info on making them that would be great id love to have a go.xOne day I will live in a cabin in the woods0

hi all!! i am jamtart (haha its not my real name!!) i am 26 and have no kids nor pets!!
I am a lapsed crafter because i'm in my final year of uni (7th!!!) so life is on the back burner until I finish
My main crafts are card making and scrapbooking. I worked in a card making shop for years, and ran classes, so if you need any help with anything, or handy tips, don't hesitate to ask!!!
Also do cross stitching and used to be an embroiderer but don't get much time now. Would LOVE to be able to make my own clothes!!! We have a 1950's Singer sewing machine just crying out to be used!!!
