Thanks all for your kind posts
I went to visit Jim a few weeks ago he looks very well
He is on a lovely private yard with another horse and 2 ponies
He has a lovely family looking after him he is a lucky boy
i hope to visit him later in the year i would love to hear more about how he is getting on but his new owner is a very busy lady (no wonder with all those horses!!)

Just in case anyone was interested
Jim is doing really well at his new home, i think he had a wobbly start he was very grumpy but now he has settled in well and is part of their family. I have been to ride him twice in the last couple of weeks whilst Uni is quiet and have hacked him round the beautiful countryside he now lives in.
I am so pleased for him and glad that his new family love him too.
So all is good

Ahhhh he's stunning. Whit woo!
Just been catching up on this thread, must have been very hard for you. I've had my pony for 14 years now and totally understand the partnership bond that you get. Must have been very hard for you but at least you know he is a happy boy with a loving new home.
It's great that you can still go and see him though and have been able to ride aswell (in gorgeous surroundings by the look of the photos!)
