I'm an adult and I can eat whatever I want whenever I want and I wish someone would take this power from me.

I hope you are doing well. We are trying ttc now and I know I would be worried if something like this happened to me. Let us know how you get on...

    Been to hospital.

Saw scan and saw 'sac' and 'yolk'. No heartbeat and am showing at 6 weeks pregnant.

Either baby has stopped growing at that stage or my period dates are wrong.

    Scan in 9 days.

They said they can't condemn a pregnancy until it is 3mm so have to wait for scan.

    No explanation for bleeding.

    My question is:

If it is a miscarriage, why would the sac and all that be intact for 4/5 weeks. Or is that what happens?

Thanks for the update - think there's quite a few of us crossing fingers etc for you!

What you have to do over the next few days is take it really easy, spoil yourself and make sure you're looked after. If it's going to happen it will, and you need some tlc.

I don't want to say anything that will give false hope but I'll still keep fingers crossed for you...

I really don't want false hopes and appreciate that :)

I am expecting the worst but would like to know of anyone else who has experienced this. I don't know, perhaps I do want to know it wil be OK. I've had a little cry. It's upsetting either way, especially bleeding without explanation.

She saw a cyst on my ovary and said its not necessarily a bad thing so as soon as i know whats happening with this pregnancy I am going to get a smear done.

Thanks for keeping us up to date Dippychick. I just don't know the answers to your questions, I'm sorry. Maybe the scan will help but it seems a long time to go without answers. Could your doctor give advice? Or could you ring the hospital and ask what the results mean? Lots of people must get questions they don't ask at the time.
