  • I haven't seen an email with confirmation of these items on it yet. Seems they are keeping things a little more under wraps. As I left yesterday all I was aware of was the four eggs for 50p which came in on Friday ready for Monday.
When you bear in mind ASDA were doing 6 Smart Price eggs for 50p about a month ago, suddenly 4 eggs for 50p doesn't seem quite as good a deal...

I doubt they're free range either, Tesco's doing 15 free range eggs for £2, only 1/2p per egg more.
    Next year we'll be millionaires!

the eggs are a bit of a dud buy, 50p for 4 of there normal value range eggs, which makes it work out at 12.5p per egg, but if you buy there normal 12 packs of value eggs at £1.19, it makes it 10p per egg, and they place them next to each other on the shelf, surely people will spot these and not bother with the 50p ones, Dave
