Well if these are the items that you will get for a total of £4 I don't think that's a great deal. I certainly wouldn't pay £4 for that lot, £4 can buy ingredients for a lot more than a breakfast if you buy cheaper and at the right places!

The "Price Crunch Breakfast" deal included four eggs, a white loaf of bread, four rashers of bacon, eight sausages, mushrooms, tomatoes, two tins of baked beans and six breakfast muffins.

Unless you mean they had 4 each.

Many moons ago I used to work in a supermarket and it was on the audit whats going through ie if it says 2 per customer...then it SHOULD be 2 per customer because depending on the company this could get the checkout staff into trouble if done too many times! (putting more through)

so if you guys want to buy 10 packets of chicken then go through 5 times!

Its not fair on the staff if their company has rules and customer are moaning about it!

So in ONE transaction if there is 5 in the family standing there, you are still only allowed 2 items.

going by previous history on these promotions, then yes, they should do.

I would have called a supervisor over and get them to have the last word. These people on the checkout are only paid min wage and not paid up enough to put up with things like that.

Why people have to get that like that I will never know. If he knew it was 2 each then why did not get his wife to put the other items though on a separate transaction. I have done that in the past with special offers with my husband. But we do also go to different tills to try and make it no so obvious.
