Isn't 150g of bacon only about 4 pieces???

yes it is 4 pieces, but normal packs are only roughly between 6-8 pieces, for much more than £1, so it is a good deal.

can you freeze bread ?!?!:confused::confused:

Another tip is to split the loaf, so you can take a few slices out when you need them... I tend to freeze the loaf in halves or quarters - saves it going off.

My Mum always just takes slices off the frozen loaf as she needs them. They break off easily so no real need to divide the loaf up before freezing, and the last slice is as fresh as the first!

I do that too with wholemeal bread, as only me who will eat it in this house!!

Got a few packs of bacon, think they are a good deal, but I didn't bother with the sausages as the meat content was pretty low.

    If you say so.

I always freeze bread. And use it later for sandwiches the same for bagels/baps etc.

All tastes the same to me.
