Got 2 packs and put them straight in the freezer so not actually tasted it! But it looked nice enough - like diced breast meat! Fairly small packs but good value for 50p!"If you dream alone it will remain just a dream. But if we all dream together it will become reality"0

Bought the bugers last time for a BBQ and they were great - went and got some again from the new deal and very disappointed as the quality is not as good. The last time the burgers were exactly the same ones that were usually £1.79 per pack but this time they look specially made to sell for 50p!
The burgers in my local store seem better this time. Nowhere near the ammount of fat in them as last time.0 -

Apart from the grated cheese 2 weeks ago, my local Morrisons (Stratford E) regularly top up the supplies of the 50p items. The chicken products seem to be the best sellers but always seem to be available at some stage during my visit. Some items are not mega bargains as either special smaller packs or not much less than normal price. Still 4 nice meaty looking quarterpounders or small pack of diced, boned, skinnned chicken breast for 50p sounds good to me. :T0

Grr.... I may hop on a bus tomorrow morning?
I'm thinking exactly the same here. Offers like that should pay for the bus fare. Only problem is I hate buses so if Morissons intend to keep this up I'd greatly appreciate them getting a store in Dewsbury - Failing that, Come on Asda..! Give em some competition to keep me shopping locally!
PS: what's the limit per customer?Energy prices are rising fast so if you like my comment, thank me quickly so you can shut down your computer sooner..! And if you believe Al gore you'll be doing your bit for the planet0 -
Limit is 2 items (of each) per customer0

Bought two packs of chicken, £1 New potatos 50p, pack of four peppers £1. Went to Tesco and bought pack of cherry tomatoes 10p. Going to add garlic and chilli flakes over the whole lot and roast them in the oven. Total cost £2.60. Should feed four! Anyone else got any ideas?0

I cooked the first pack of chicken last night, it was v yummy. I cooked it on the hob with an onion and added peas and carrots, and served with some of the new potatoes. Went back for some more today, but as we don't have a freezer we will be eating nothing but chicken for the next few days which doesn't bother me in slightest but DD might start objecting! (she hates sausages) I'm just thinking of a- the weight loss possibilities and b- how much the freezer fund will gain.
pack I bought monday(4th) had use by date of 9 August, packs bought today had date of 11 August. Enough for 2 adults.0
