Evening all!
SSL - how can you go off the boy Rupert!!! I asked DH what Dervla had that I didn't - it was a VERY long list!!! RPJ is my wallpaper at school and one of our short sighted teachers came to the office and said how nice it was to see me using piccies of DH in the workplace!!!
Decided to bake choccie orange cookies (recipe from here) rather than clean kitchen. (Sorry Pigpen!) but hope to achieve more 2moro as DS is being taken to Legoland by his friend - so just got the girls!
Going for a HHC in the office tonight - then HHI to see if I can get ahead of myself. Wish me luck!0 -

(Scottish kids go back around the 3rd week in August and I always left it til the last minute). Someone, was it G&B? was talking about Markies doing 3 for 2 on schoolwear I think or did I dream that?
G&B - where are you? Are you on hols and did I miss that? I need your help with silicone bakeware. I did post on the GC, but no one has replied there. I got some silicone bakeware from Home and Bargains, only £1.99 each. I've washed them in warm soapy water before using them. Do I need to do anything else? There werent any instructions.
I'm here, had no computer since saturday so just been catching up on thread. I got LO's school uniform from M&S 3 for 2, dont know if its still on though. I got mine a while back. Remember quidco and FREEDELV is the code if you spend over £30 for free delivery.
Just washing silicon bakeware is fine, will be ok to use now.The trouble with the world is that the stupid are cocksure and the intelligent are full of doubt.Bertrand Russell0 -
Evening everyone.
Was late getting back from my meeting and greeting tonight. Just before I left I saw a little old lady trying to get down the stairs. So I helped her and asked if she was ok. The poor dear was lost and it turned out the ward her husband was on was upstairs. So after showing her where the loo was I took her back to the ward. Took quite a time as she walked slowly. A lovely lady who turned out to be 93 and had been married for 68 years.
Been a lovely day here and set to stay that way. so looks like the garden will get tackled tomorow.
Shall I make hobnobs or not? That is the question as I will just eat them. Yes or no flyers?
AnWsMum The Santa letter gave me wet eye. Big hugs.
Mudbath Hope Ds is feeling better and I hope you are ok.
JoJo Good news on the car.0 -
Definitely yes to the hob nobs! I've been scoffing the cookies I made earlier - so if you bake too I won't feel so much of a piggy!!:rotfl:0

Tia - where have you been missus?
Oh and the dog is in the bad books, again! He chewed on the plug thing that goes into the laptop, er the power cable I guess its called. So thats goosed. Luckily, I have mum's pc up the stairs. I might not be tempted to be on line for so long ha ha!!
HOLIDAY!!!!:D Had a great time, now skint.
My mum and dads second rescue husky eats things too. Her most recent was the phone charger. Previous items include lots of socks, soft toys, a cheap digi camera that didn't work anyway, 4 corners from 3 cushions, a duvet, DS2's ball (drama!), 2 pairs of boots a pair of slippers and a plastic tray.0 -

Where were you?
Its not even my dog! I'm dogsitting for friends. They come back on Saturday. Tomorrow will be interesting. Forecast heavy rain and I'm looking after my cousin's LO (9 months) as well. Oh and I have to wait in for a delivery. Is anyone else doing a home testing survey for £50?0 -
