Well, I had to do washing today as I ran out of clean knickers. So thats how much of a domestic goddess I am.

Ha ha haha hahahaha a girl after my own heart.
Mudbath - I think I'm going to be in your camp and only get as far as Tuesday.. but I'm really going to try because I can't bear being so messy!

I'm moving on 2 August so I'm frantically scrubbing everything and anything at the moment. Sorry if that sounds a bit odd!

Ok not so good for a first attempt. I got the oven hob cleaned, all work surfaces and all the stray dishes cleaned away. I also part cooked tomorrows fish pie to make it easier for when I get home from work. Washed the inside of the fridge and put out the recycling. Nothing else was done tho (including sweeping and mopping the huge kitchen floor which desperately needs doing). Is it possible to keep up with all this whilst holding down a stressful full time job?

    SK x x x

    Hi
Just found this thread, I have been doing flylady for a few years now and think I have got the hang of it, but aint it funny that when you have a lapse its when someone decides to visit, happens all the time. Have not yet all the threads but do you do the control journal thing, I have never been able to master this.
It seems a really friendly thread, doing the GC for July.
Going to do before bed routine. Nightie Night

Sexkitten & Keld - massive amount done - really well done!

Annie - you should pop over to the Enough is Enough - No More Declutter thread - really good for getting rid of stuff before your move - however, maybe not, I am prehaps incorrectly assuming that you need to declutter - I personally am working on the premise - the more I throw out the less I have to clean!

Welcome philsmum :D- think you will have a lot to offer this thread - many of us struggle to keep up and I for one certainly have not got the hang of it yet! Will look forward to your input!

Thanks for the welcome, I think the main thing is not to overdo it, just start of shining sink, everything else will follow, flylady says get into one habit before starting another. Just remember what the FLY in flylady means,
FINALLY LOVING YOURSELF, then its much easier to love everyone else.
The other must is an ostrich feather duster, they cost a fortune from flys website but they do a brilliant one in Lakeland, they seem expensive but really do collect the dust and not flick it all over the place, ;)
Sorry for the long post but I feel as if I want this site to help everyone like it has helped me. I wish I had known all this when my family were young, now trying to teach 11 GC. Definitely goodnight.

    Morning All

Can't start on the bathroom as DD is still asleep - I've been awake since 3.15 so in the end up I thought I may as well get up!

Didn't do very well yesterday - started on the DR which was - and still is - a pigsty but it is a little better now so I may go and do some more in there. Didn't even start on the kitchen so that needs doing as well really.

I need to go and buy a new pillow at some point - I washed DS's yesterday and it's now all lumpy and won't go back flat.

Hope you all have a good day
