Back from Mr Ts, had a wander round and got a few bargains. In the end my bill (b4 coupons of course) came to just over £30 so I got 40 teabags and a packet of biscuits free!

Need to go and put the shopping away now - nothing exciting just crisps, smoothies, cereal, drinks, tins all reduced!

Thanks for the hugs, it brought a tear and a smile to me.

Only two more school pick ups and then 6 weeks off! *JoJo* I would tend just to buy the badged stuff from the uniform shop and get the rest elsewhere. What size is your DD and what colour skirts/shirts/dresses does she need. I have some of A's stuff that may be of use to you or any other fly ladies out there. Now W's stuff was either hand me downs (no he didn't wear A's skrits :p ) or has mostly been trashed by him. But if there are any little boys starting school this time then I will have a rummage for you all as well.

Oh Mudbath is that a bout of the gastrointeritis at your house then? Hope you all get well soon sounds nasty!

I did battle with a huge pile of laundry! I folded and paired and put away and I won! Hehe! :rotfl:

Now I'm sat at the PC looking at ideas for bead necklaces and wondering what there is for our dinner....

Completed list pretty well so far considering I went to my friend's for 4 hours! Her and my younger sister (16) were taking the pee out of me for going on this "boring housewives" thread , apparently I am beyond sad and no woman my age (23) should get so involved in housework. (Yeah but my house is tidier than theirs!) Also they were mocking my freezing fetish, I got very excited the other day when reading the thread on what you could freeze and was IMing them through facebook with comments like "wow, did you know you can freeze sandwiches!"
They were going through the food cupboard and found a can with no label but didn't want to open it because then would have had to use it, when I said "well you can always freeze it" they rolled their eyes like here she goes again.

They'll be laughing on the other sides of their faces when they see me sitting in my sparklingly clean house eating my home baked cakes and effortlessly defrosting dinner!

My list for today plus extra jobs

There is also an update on my new car!!! It is now in the UK at last!!!:j :D :j :D (along with a boot full of wine from its time in France, as requested by Mrs V!!! ;) ) I still won't be able to have it until the weekend but at least it is still not travelling Europe!

Ooh, great news JoJo; I'll look forward to a board booze-up next weekend then :D

Thanks to those who asked about the house sale; we have now had 3 offers and have accepted one of them (they can progress quickly), so I have spent the day getting all the paperwork together for the solicitor. I thought my filing was up to date but I have had to have a proper search for some of the stuff. Just dropped it all off in town so need to crack on with the list now and keep the house ticking over.
Should exchange in 3 weeks if all goes to plan  but don't want to count my chickens by having a good clearout just yet.......

Will potter in the kitchen this evening and sort out a mealplan for the next couple of weeks, in between cleaning.

Hugs to all who need them, and bon voyage to those off on their jollies! Oh and welcome to the newbies! :D (I'm still one myself :o )

AnWsMum - had to gulp back a sob xx

Jojo - I'd get what you need now. I always left it too late and could never get anything in August. (Scottish kids go back around the 3rd week in August and I always left it til the last minute). Someone, was it G&B? was talking about Markies doing 3 for 2 on schoolwear I think or did I dream that?

G&B - where are you? Are you on hols and did I miss that? I need your help with silicone bakeware. I did post on the GC, but no one has replied there. I got some silicone bakeware from Home and Bargains, only £1.99 each. I've washed them in warm soapy water before using them. Do I need to do anything else? There werent any instructions.

Tia - where have you been missus?

Ginger girl - was just thinking about you. I read an interview with RPJ in this weeks Radio Times. I think I've gone off him. Did you know he was married to Dervla Kirwan (sp)? She was in Ballykissangel and is the voice of Markies ads.

Well, I'm pleased to report that the poo and red wine stains have gone completely. It looks like I havent done much from my list, but the filters took me forever. Dont think mum has ever cleaned them
