  • Sorry me again....

Another question- on my credit file it is Halifax and Santander that are incorrect, when I applied for my DRO these depts had gone to collection agencies and are showing on the order as these agencies does that go against me when trying to clear up my file?

Also the Santander depts were when it was still Abbey National should this make any difference?

Do I send a copy of the DRO or just the discharge information?

    Thanks again in advance

None of that should make any difference. If the entry on your report is in Santander's name or one of their previous companies then they must correct it regardless. If they wrongly argue the toss then that can be dealt with.

Send whatever evidence you have that proves the DRO. You don't usually get discharge confirmation, or has that changed. But basically enough to show that the DRO was made and if you have it that it reached the one year OK.

  • Thanks you again Fermi :j

I printed up the information from the insolvency register upon completion of the DRO.... one of the few things I was organised on lol

Thank you so much for you help :)
  • So so sorry me again....

On the letter that I send (thanks for the template Fermi ) where it says name of creditor do I put Halifax or the dept agency that was working for them??? I'm stressing over getting the wording right.

The original creditor was Halifax Card services however it was Blair someone and other who was dealing with it at the time of DRO therefore their name on the order......

Sooo confused... I think I should put Halifax but would like to double check....

Thank you yet again in advance.

Put both, as in Halifax (handled by Blair, Oliver and Scott).

(Blair, Oliver and Scott are actually Halifax's internal collection department, not a separate collector at all)

  • OK

I have calmed myself a bit and put on the letter as follows -

'Blair Oliver and Scott Ltd, working on behalf of Halifax Card services, was included in the DRO'

    Will this be OK?
  • sorry fermi we must have been writing at the same time lol

will alter it to what you said thank you again

  • Well I did it - sent 3 letters by recorded delivery today! One to Halifax, one to HBOS and one to Lloyd's so hopefully one of them will be the correct address for getting the Halifax loan corrected in my credit report.

Is it likely I will get a reply from all of them, even if its just to say 'its not us'?

    TIA

  • Hi, I'm confused looking at my statutory experian report.

    I was BR 15/12/09 & discharged 15/12/10

Experian doesn't show a settlement date on my creditors but I have some that say "settled" but some creditors are still updating my payment history with [8] each month & it says "account updated to 16/06/13" or another recent date.

Does this make sense? & is it correct?

Also Egg Banking have the right date but says "Debt assigned CAIS member 07/11". Should I be concerned by this?

Thanks in advance for any help.
