The printout from the IS register should be sufficient.
If you dig out your bankruptcy petition which will list the creditors and just get the account numbers from there.
Also might be best to get your report from Call Credit as well, if you haven't already.BSC Member 3510 -

From looking through my paperowkr it appears I do not (I do remember never being sent one) have a discharge notice. Will this be a major problem?
Should be.
Your former OR may be able to write a letter confirming your discharge.
If you have trouble getting conformation you can try cleaning up without it. Many creditors won't query it.Free/impartial debt advice: National Debtline | StepChange Debt Charity | Find your local CAB

Just trying to clear up my record most of it is done now, however I am struggling to get one clear off, I have spoken to them on the phone back in Feb/Mar but still showing. they also said it should have come of my credit rating after 6 years of the default and it still has not.
I have sent letters as well, I am at a loss what to do now with it, so hopeing for some advice.
Also it is showing my address as my old address linked to my new one, however I filled in the form that came round to change it to say I was living at my new address, so that is showing as red on the report, how can I get that fixed as well?
Thanks
Dave
If the default on your report is over 6 years old, it shouldn't be showing.
You would need to complain to the agency you go the report from.Free/impartial debt advice: National Debtline | StepChange Debt Charity | Find your local CAB

Can you advise whether i can do photo copies from the insolvency register or is is better to print a load off. Also will this be acceptable to send to the creditors for clean up?
Thank you :j
Should be fine. 99% will have no trouble with that.Free/impartial debt advice: National Debtline | StepChange Debt Charity | Find your local CAB

I have read the letter draft in the clean up section, one part is puzzling me
Currently the information that you have recorded against my name with the Credit Reference Agencies is factually incorrect, and despite several written requests to your customer services , as yet your company has failed to correct the entries as required.
I havent actually informed anyone in customer services, so not sure if i should add it. I have copied the letter and added my bits as necessary.
Thank you for your answers, i know what i will be doing over the next few days !B/R ..... May 24th 2011

Did you put account numbers when you listed the debts on your petition? If yes, the OR should have a copy of that if you don't.
A meaningful ref number would also be of help.
In the end though, if push comes to shove, all you have to do is give the creditor enough information to allow them to identify you and your accounts. You don't really need an account number for that. It just makes it much much easier.Free/impartial debt advice: National Debtline | StepChange Debt Charity | Find your local CAB

It's a generic letter, and that bit does no harm.
Plus, the creditor has already been informed of the bankruptcy by the OR, so they have already had notice in that form and really should have corrected the records themselves without you having to go to this hassle.
So in that sense, this is a "further" reminder.Free/impartial debt advice: National Debtline | StepChange Debt Charity | Find your local CAB

Now i am getting frustrated. On my experian it states a settled balance on both my barclaycards, but on equifax it states the following
SD65432100000000000000000000000
what on earth does this mean, and does the noughts mean settled ?
I have 17 letters to send off and this is horrendous, thanks xB/R ..... May 24th 2011
