I'm going through the process of cleaning up my credit files post-bankruptcy and have requested credit reports from all 3 CRAs. Have only received one from Experian so far and past bank accounts etc are showing correctly (eg marked as settled, dates fine) HOWEVER for all 6 of my credit cards that were included in my bankruptcy none of them are marked as settled / partially settled / satisfied... is this usual? (I suppose I expected for at least some of them to be ok?) All (apart from my 2 Barclaycards) have a default date of before my bankruptcy but B'card's are about a month after I went bankrupt so I guess in that respect it's not too bad.
I'm right in thinking I need to write to them all to get the accounts marked as satisfied, though, aren't I?
Also my Egg credit card doesn't appear on my credit report at all - I suppose that's good news... just seems a bit odd!0 -

Ok, my CallCredit file has my discharge date as 1 year after I went bankrupt... in reality I got early discharge. Should I get this changed, or does it not really matter as it will fall off my file 6 years after the date I went bankrupt, not when I was discharged... doesn't it? :?0

Oh Deep Joy :-) I am just about to begin the process of sorting out my files post BR, was discharged in September 2008 , why did I not start in October 2008 ? well to be honest it has taken a lot of time to even get myself in a state where I can look at my past !!! Loads of other "events" to deal with, but here we go, just looked through to see all the fun times people are having ! Good Luck everyone, be strong :-)0

Does anyone have the correct address for the Data Controller for Tesco's Credit Cards, please? So many Tesco's addresses listed on the ICO site, I'm not sure which one is correct.
Also, I'm sure I saw someone post on here recently that the address for the Data Controller at Egg has changed, but now I can't seem to find it. Can anyone help with that, too, please? Thanks.0 -
Also, in the 'clean up letter' if the default dates shown on my CRFs are ok, do I delete that bit in the letter and just keep in the request they 'mark as settled' bit?0
