Just 2 last silly questions for now....

If my debt has been sold to a collection agency (Experto Credite in this case) I address my letter to them?

And the Egg address is the 33, Canada Square, E14 one?

    Thanks in advance,

Im just looking at my credit files. I was BR 7th May 2010, most of the creditors are showing I defaulted June and I need to update these but Barclays loan is showing satisfied June 2010. Do I need to do anything about this or leave this one?

If the default date is before the BR and it's marked as settled, then leave it.

Write the letter in the main sticky to get them corrected.

What does it list as the creditor on your credit files?

If it is still recorded as Egg, then you write to them.

If the entries have been switched over into the name of Experto Credit, then you write to those instead.

    Hi Fermi,

sorry, they're 2 separate entries. The Experto Credit one was Santander, the Egg one is still Egg.

And reading this thread, I'm going to have fun with both!

OK. Well, basically you write to whoever currently has their name on the credit report entry.

They are the ones responsible for correcting anything that is wrong.

Hi there i hope i am in the right place, i was hoping someone could help me out. I went bancrupt in 2006 and was discharged in 2007. Now since then i didnt worry to much until my bank started offering to upgrade my account (i have a childs account with the halifax). They tried there and then but was denied. I went onto experian and on my records there are still things showing up that i thought would of been taking off. I realy want to sort this out. Me and my partner looked into a mortgage together but was rejected (obviously) but the adviser said if i could get my credit up he coud help us out. Is there any way i can wipe things of my record also does anyone know how long you stay bancrupt for. sorry for the wall of text but i have been sent down so many different routes im very confused.
