Im just looking at my credit files. I was BR 7th May 2010, most of the creditors are showing I defaulted June and I need to update these but Barclays loan is showing satisfied June 2010. Do I need to do anything about this or leave this one?

I've just started to clean my credit file up after being discharged September 2010. However i had a Barclays Joint Account which i have no idea what the account is. Even on my Bankruptcy forms i put account number as unknown. How would i find out what this is? Would OR know it or could i just ring up Barclays?

another question from me, as well as Barclayloan showing as satisfied, I can not find my barclaycard on either Experian or Equafax. Does this mean I have to check Callcredit? I tried to get a £2 credit report but it wont accept my coop visa card for some reason.

edit: I just noticed on experian that there is one for TTI SP - I googled I gather this is someone that has been sold my debt? The amount would equal what I owed on Barclaycard. Again, like my Barclays loan this is showing as satisfied from June 2010. I was BR on May 2010 - should I leave this or get them to correct? For the sake of a month do I leave it alone?

I'm just in the process of cleaning up my Credit File its quite a mess with not one single creditor having got the right dates (Discharge was in Feb 11).

One question though - I had a rental property (that my disabled elderly mother lived in - but thats a whole different story), the Mortgage wasnt officially included in the Bankruptcy but the OR insisted that I could not pay the Mortgage so it defaulted and the property was sold.

That happened in Oct 10 - 6 months after the BR date, I havent been chased for any shortfall and the Mortgage Company were aware of the Circumstances.

Should/Could this have the BR date as the Default Date? If so how do I go about it? Would I have to now retrospectively add them as a Creditor in my Br?

    Thanks

I'm not a bankruptcy practitioner, but as a previous bankruptee, I'd say the mortgage of which you speak is nothing to do with the bankruptcy if it wasn't listed in it. Thus the date would be purely what the bank say it is. Though re: any shortfall, I'm sure there is a law (likely google-able) about debts being unenforcable if they have not been acted upon for a certain period. From what I know you certainly couldn't add debts to a BR retrospectively.

Is anyone else having problems with Egg? - I sent them the letter by recorded delivery on 20/06/11, and as of today (11/07/11) the royal mail tracking number says it has not yet been delivered!

Are they refusing to sign for things addressed to the data control officer? - and before you ask, yes, it was sent to the address as listed on the ICO website.

I had no problem with EGG but a couple of my recorded delivery letters were not signed for and the relevant details not updated. I raised a complaint via the Royal Mail website and after they conducted an investigation, they deemed that the letters were never delivered, I received a book of first class stamps as compensation. I had to send the 2 letters again but thankfully they both were delivered this time and my files updated accordingly.

Just started my clean up process, I'm pretty sure I'll be on here rather a lot lol. Reading the thread, it does seem to be the same problems with the same companies.

    OK, as suspected, I'm back....

Sorting out my letters to send, and I notice for some reason, i do not have my Egg account number (I thought I'd kept a letter from them, but the one I have does not have the number on it, yes, I'm an idiot!)

Do I just send the letter without it? (I'm guessing I'll have to?)

ETA: Like an idiot, i forgot about my copy of my bankruptcy order, all the numbers are on there!
