  • One of my colleagues just told me she didn't know what meringue was...!!!

I have a friend who didnt believe there was cheese in cheesecake, or that hamburgers werent made of bloody ham :rotfl:where do we find these people ey?

Yes Annabelle is my DD :) Thats her about age 9/10 months though, shes now fast approaching 2 in December.

Puzzled - well done for bringing brekki to work and not smoking :) :T dont worry we all have down days. i had 3 weeks of frustration when i just maintained despite being fairly good eating and exercising. Now its a lot easier to be perky when ive lost 3lbs this week. So dont stress :) when you start to see your results, you will be all perky too :D, but for now be perky with your good deeds, NSD and healthy eating :)
  • Whew what a busy morning! lemon oil seems a good idea, I'll try to remember that MM
Wow Egypt! that is amazing! What a funny conincedence that there two people going there at the same time! Don't worry about what people think BF, if you have worked hard for it then that is what matters! I don't think there is any point denying yourself every pleasure until you pay it all off or you will get grouchy! well, I would anyway! lol!
  • oo I'm not sure BF, I want to say to go and have a nice lunch as you're going for a walk this afternoon but maybe it would be better to have some toast if you're tyring to be good before your sisters get here and the healthy regime goes out the window. Up to you but don't beat yourself up if you do treat yourself this once! when is your birthday?

We're doing a cruise up the nile for the first week, and then Cairo for 2 nights and then a hotel in Luxor for 5 nights, 2 weeks intotal. Cruise is all inclusive, Cairo b&b and Luxor half board.

I dont talk about it much because I feel like people will judge me for spending the money; when in reality we had a really big discussion about whether or not to cancel the booking and lose the £300 deposit; or carry on paying it. I know we could have paid off more debt by now if we hadn't gone; but I am so glad we are going!

BF I am off to Tunisia in 4 weeks and you know the situation I have just been in. Booked and paid for before i had my LB moment. We are all on here for the same reasons. You tell us all about you hols before and after. I could have paid off two of my debts with £1500 holiday and spends and clothes has cost me. I am not sure how you may feel about this, but this has made me a stonger a person and allthough i would rather not have the debts. I dont feel bad about them, i will pay them off and save and learnt valubale life lessons.

Do not buy anything you can not afford with a credit card. Credit cards are an expensive way of borrowing than your local bank loan which offers better rates and better terms for you. If you are going to use a credit card, use credit card that offers 0% on balance transfers.

Sandwiches, burgers, fizzy drinks, sweets, potato crisps and takeaways are more expensive and do not nourish your body like the less cheaper fruits and vegetables. Instead of buying a expensive sandwich from a shop, taking a pack lunch will save you a lot of money.
