over spend and over eat

Hello all (if you remember me! haha)
Sorry I've been away for a bit (work trip) - but I'm back now! I've been eating ok but not that great - still giving in to the choc temptation too often! I actually bought a tub of choc mini rolls from Tesco earlier (the shame!).
Spending-wise, I've been doing ok. So far in August I've had two NDSs (only managed two in the whole of July!!) and am below budget on everything. Am very tempted by a lovely bracelet in Oasis, £15!!! Mustn't. Mustn't.
Also re: natural skin products/cosmetics etc. I've been reading so much into it all and have decided to try to cut out all harmful stuff where possible - that means parabens, phthalates etc. Trouble is, I already have such a large stock of such things to use up (being a MSE, I bulk but when stuff's on offer and haven't had to go near Boots in ages as a result). Do I use them up before starting on the natural stuff? Or just bin them?
But the overeating is the main thing - I really need to get a grip! Someone I hadn't seen in a year saw me yesterday and remarked that I'd put on weight - not very tactful I know, but in a way it is giving me a little spur to do something about it!! Now that I know that my weight gain isn't just in my imagination...
Well done to the weight losers, I haven't yet read through all the pages I've missed but will get through them all!
Missed ya all BTW :A
We've missed you too Tara, I think that everyone's coming back after I asked where they had all went to:D .

No offence taken Puzzled - I have to say that I see myself as a guy because I'm so large and I don't feel feminine, the only thing remotely feminine are my big melons...look forward to hearing from you soon.
I think that most guys would know you are feminine Tesscha, especially as you do have big melons. I do not have any, so you can share them with me. And don't say things like that about yourself, it's what's inside that really counts

lYNNE hang in there, you are doing well. sorry poorly is having a bad time of it. Life really is a B*mmer aint it. But you will cope with it and come out the other side a better person, for facing it head on and coming throught it all. We all will. thats what is all about really, not how good or bad we do. But facing are issues not brushing them under the carpet but dealing with it.
Keep posting, we here for you.
Jo x
Thanks Jo,
It's becoming a worry, this business with poorly. I actually thought he had departed this world on Monday night, his face was all grey, but when I went down and slapped his face he started to moan. I got my mum to phone my brother who lives near poorly's place, so I picked him and his girlfriend up who is a nurse so that he could help me lift him up, my mum couldn't do it. It's a shame, I thought she was going to pass out as well. Brother's GF checked him all out and she knew what to do with regards to lifting him up and stuff. Well we got him to the hospital, and he cannot remember a thing about it. He had done 2 bottles of whisky. It's scary, if he cannot stop, he will die, but what can you do. My DH thinks we should get him into a room and do a trainspotting on him, barricade him in and only feed him and give him water until he is better. (My DH is a bit extreme at times).
It's a shame, cause he done so well at AA, he was off it for about 6 months and then went back to it with a vengance. I think he knows now that he needs to pack it in. My mum's friend (high heid yin in the AA), spoke to him at around 5ish and she thinks he hasn't had anything today. That's all she can tell you though because they are not allowed to talk about anything anyone tells them. I would be nice if life wasn't so carp at times, but there you go, it is.
Well if nothing else, it's putting me off eating so should lose something this week!!

I'm off to bed now, thanks Skintlynne - if I could share 'em I defnitely would. I know that people don't see me that way (I just feel that way sometimes-in a joking way), the way I feel now about myself is a lot better than 10 years ago.
Skintlynne - whoa....things are serious, you're very strong and I'm thinking of you.
wanttobeasaver - Your menu looks pretty good
Tara747 - Hello, pleased to meet you. Your menu looks a little like mine -I mean the kitkats cos I have a weakness for the chunky peanut ones at the moment.
Goodnight and spk to you all tomorrow.0 -
