    Hi Guys

Jo stand back from the wine. My current downfall on the calorie front.

But hey we are not perfect. Well done with the weight loss lady you are doing so well. You are going to have to beat me with a large stick I have not being doing well at all. But determined to get back on track.

I know what you mean BlueJeans, it takes a while to see where your money really goes on! Before i had the internet i had martins first book - absoluteley brilliant in making me cut down my spending. However, although it helped me cut down drastically, i find it really diffucult to spend ANYTHING now. The bottle of wine in the cupboard was a birthday present, feel like i'm saving it for something when i probably should have drunk it on my birthday!
(P.S I too am a fan of stationary - ssh!)

Babyjayne, well done on the apple. I like to write "new" i have lotus organizer on my computer and use it a lot. I have a main one that has all my stuff in. Then i have other diarys in it. like my journal and my finances and i do the same with that, enter one or two things then erase and start a new one. i think, i think each new fresh diary is a new fresh start for me.

    Hi everyone :hello:

welcome2.gif to pippo, Bargainfinder and Toffee! Congratulations on maintaining, Emmylou! signgoodjob.gif Much better than a gain!! Well done to everybody to made wise choices today… :D

Puzzled – good luck with the blood test tomorrow morning, and I hope you feel better soon! friends2.gif(That smilie looks sooooooooo dodgy, but its meant in the right way!!). getwell.png

Not a bad day for me (until about an hour ago, when I opened a bottle of wine…hmm, is it me or does there seem to be a theme running this evening on this thread…?! ;):p). Food choices were quite good again, and I avoided the mini pork pie by feeding it to Mr P with his salad for dinner, and stuck to the healthier cold meats. (He is a little overweight, but not as much as me, so is better equipped to deal with these things – he also has a 7” height advantage when it comes to working out his BMI!!:rotfl:). Weirdly enough, despite all my talk about “ch*c*late”, I too am a savoury person. I can sit with unopened ch*c*late, b*scu*ts, and sw**ts in the house and have no problem, but packets of crisps and savoury pastries (sausage rolls/cheese & onion slices, etc) eat away at me if they are here and drive me crazy!! dizzy2.gif

Anyway, enough of this talk about naughty things. Thank you to everybody for all the fantastic support on here – Bluejeans is right…you are a fantastic group of girls grouphug3.gif (and no, that isn’t the wine talking – I have only had 2 small (100ml) glasses!!).
