Any tips on night eating - I can be good all day then about 9/10 pm I eat rubbish and undo all my efforts.

Almar, I read somewhere that the reason people crave sugary or fatty foods late at night is because they haven't been getting ther ight balance of these things during the day.

I never eat at night, but I used to. I started having low fat ice cream ( just a small ammount, take a tea cup and put the ice cream in that) about 1 hour after I'd eaten dinner. That was enough sugar to stop the cravings and eventually I just weaned myself off of that. xx

Ive been very good - for once.

Had chicken and 3 veg for dinner and burnt 100 cals on the pedal machine. First day and I was crackered, had to keep stopping but was determined to see 100 cals on the machine. In distance it was like walking for 4.5K whatever that means in miles - I am still in old money.

I'm going to have an early night so I dont spoil it.

    Hi all,

i've not had a bad day eating wise, breakfast cereal and soya milk, lunch, spaghetti on toast, dinner meatballs (HM) and pasta. I wandered round tesco and asda and looked at the reduced stuff. I also post of the live on 4k for a year thread and the girls on that buy loads of whoopsie bargains. Be warned though, it's dangerous near those aisles, lots of pushing people out the way etc:p

I have had some luck in my own tesco, but tried in another nearby town tonight and nothing doing, I like my own shops better:o

I don't know why I am looking at groceries for at the moment as DH is still away, I eat at my mums:D :D It's nice to practice tho!

    Speak later,
    SL x
  • Morning, oh dear, i had a few too many cocktails last night! it was very difficult getting out of bed this morning! I tried to say no to take out last night but the OH wouldn't let me as he knew i wouldn't cook (it was 1am) so i gave in and had a hot dog, i decided that was better than a burger and chips. Although it was a naughty evening it could have been worse so I'm not going to worry about it.

I miss BargainFinder, I'v pm'd her but no reply, hope she's ok.

Lynne, that 4k idea is amazing, i wish you lots of luck with it!!!
    xx

    Hiya ladies

Yesterday wqas a good day for me, Had green tea for brekkie. Then beef lasange for lunch with some carrots and peas ( I wasnt having a huge dinner) and then I had some grapes to snack on. Dinner was a very small portion of soup... one the Heinz "for One" tins that I keep at my 2nd job because I only had 1 hour between finishing here nd getting there.

BF is ok, shes just not on here as much because shes been busy. She was emailing me about the book swap thing so dont worry, shes still alive :) !!

SL how are you managing the 4k thing? I'm thinking of doing it next year but how do you work out how much you can spend etc?? xx
