you lot do make me chuckle, and I shall see how long I can last without too caving in and going 'I want one!' :P
given how often I'm on this board lately, it may be a good thing to have my weight staring me in the face every time I post.0 -
Emmylou keep at it, it will just drop off when you leas expect it. You have to keep going as its motivating me to walk more.
Lauzjp, I must admit I am looking forward to seeing my ticker go along to the end. AND IT WILL.
Had a good night at work, no rubbish. Just my Salad and Stewed rhubarb. tomatoes, cucumber, onions and peppers all from allotment, rhubarb too. So all nice and fresh. Going for my breakfast now. Must admit I'm not really hungry, so might not have any. "I am trying to get into the, eat when I'm hungry state of mind".

I think I'll attempt that next year. I just worked it out and it works out at £333 per month.
I think I could manage that, I might even set up a standing order to my "spare" account for that amount each month from the 15th Jan and see how well I do.
I'd budget £150 for myself and £150 for food etc ( I'm single and live in a shared flat so food is really not a huge thing.. I think I could get by on £100 a month, maybe even £90..) then I'd have £33 left at the end of the month.
SL If you do in Jan I will too
Anyone else up for it?! xx
You're on Kmac,
I am going to try it, and I think I might just do it if I can stay out of eating establishments:D
I would read through as much of it as I can for tips etc. I got some more reduced stuff yesterday, a bag of 5 fillet steaks for a tenner and a fillet roasting joint for £13. That is a big saving. It sounds a lot, but when you portion it down, it isnt. The secret is to go to a level where you are comfortable, I would not compromise on good food, will just cut out in other areas.
The fillet roasting joint will be good for the Christmas:xmastree: period when DH is back, so I'm thinking ahead already. There's a few on there that grow their own veg so they are good company for Jo.
Speak later all,

Fabby, next year I think I will attempt it.
I am single, and really dont see things changing so much next year that I'll suddenly be feeding the 5000so if anything I should be able to manage this... she says...
I need to start
a) Finding time to do a PROPER shop, meaning checking prices in different places and getting things from the best price
b) Finding time to batch cook food
c) Find out when the supermarkets have their reduced items out on display
Seems actually that I just need more time! lol
