I do 2 jobs, a PA by day and a tour guide at night. I have no idea where I get the energy from but sometimes I do just get shattered and cant wait for a day off.
Although come November I'll only be doing tour guiding at the weekends as the late night tours don't run so I'll have a bit of time to myself between Nov - March. Although the money will dropnever mind. I'm planning to have Xmas paid for by End of Nov and then I dont need to worry (much..!)
When I worked nightshift I used to try as much as possible to treat it like a day, so I'd have cereal when I started and about 1am I'd have a sandwich or soup and then at about 4am I'd have my dinner ( usually Chilli or pasta). I'd finish at 6am, go home and potter around until 8am then go to bed. That way my body is getting the same just in the darknessxx

I tried to say no to take out last night but the OH wouldn't let me as he knew i wouldn't cook (it was 1am) so i gave in and had a hot dog, i decided that was better than a burger and chips. Although it was a naughty evening it could have been worse so I'm not going to worry about it.
I miss BargainFinder, I'v pm'd her but no reply, hope she's ok.
Lynne, that 4k idea is amazing, i wish you lots of luck with it!!!
xx
CC, bargainfinder has a facebook, if she is not one of your friends PM me and then you can go on mine to find her (if you know what I mean)!!!
Kmac and Jo,The 4K thing is a great idea, I really want to manage it, but even if I don't I will not be too far away. If you want to look at the thread, just go into my details, (click on my name) and look at my previous posts, that's the easiest way to find the thread. Nyk, the lady who organises the thread is amazing, as are all the others, I really don't know how they do it, but I want to learn.
Jo, the whoopsies are reduced stuff in the supermarket which is just about to go out of date. The girls usually freeze the items if they are not going to use it there and then. Some of them grow their own veg, buy in bulk and generally watch every penny. Quite a lot of them have come out of debt and have some savings now. Nyk is saving to buy a house in cash. They all have goals where their money is concerned.
It is really inspiring and recommend a look, even as an observer. I am just practicing at the moment, in preperation for starting on 1st January.
Will speak to you all later, have a great day,

I know lauzjp, there's lots I'd never heard of before coming on here, but they are actually called whoopsies in Asda, believe it or not!!:D You should have a look over on that thread, it is really interesting. I have started from the beginning so I won't need to buy any magazines for about 6 months, very MSE!!0 -
Just thought I would show you my weight loss tracker from tickerfactory.com - ive a long way to go but must do it as i'm now diabetic too.
Hopefully the butterfly will move along quickly to show my weight and BMI loss.Quidco £196 - Voucher Codes £408 - GC Saved £603P.A.D. £[strike]4720[/strike] / £4330- Jan GC £375/Spent £283.78~~~~~~~~~~~0 -
I think I'll attempt that next year. I just worked it out and it works out at £333 per month.
I think I could manage that, I might even set up a standing order to my "spare" account for that amount each month from the 15th Jan and see how well I do.
I'd budget £150 for myself and £150 for food etc ( I'm single and live in a shared flat so food is really not a huge thing.. I think I could get by on £100 a month, maybe even £90..) then I'd have £33 left at the end of the month.
SL If you do in Jan I will too
Anyone else up for it?! xx:heart2: Its 12 o'clock and I need your attention :heart2:Debt at Aug 2008 : Bank of Scotland CC : £1605 :mad:Overdraft : GONE!:j:staradmin Debt free aim: Sometime in 2009:staradmin0
