Jo you know you can save urself lots of time if you answer all in one post rather than in a list of them, when you go advanced if u scroll down u should be able to see every bodies replies :) and to quote just click the quote tab and paste the comment in the middle :)

Hiya Emmylou, I used to be able to do that, but now seems if i type for to long and site times me out and then have to sign back in, I lose all my message just typed ? dont know if the timed out thing is just happening to me or wheather it an all over thing. It used to be that when I signed back in I could then send but not now. That was how I lost my long post the othe day.

  • went to the start of in the city today https://www.inthecity.co.uk for anyone interested. Was a great day. Cant make tomorrow, but going back on Tuesday :)

Did about 3 miles of walking ish. Had some sweet waffles for brekki for the first time ever! where yummy! but not healthy lol. Then at the conference had 3 cereal bars (150cals each, no time for lunch), a 100cal health drink lol, a bag of baked crisps (just under 160 cals) and dinner i had 4 slices of brown bread with veggie chicken and bacon, a glass of semi skimmed milk and eeer my choccy treat. All in all I think about 1800/1900 calories, less the 300 i burned walking makes 1500/1600 so not horrendous, just not great for a diet tbh.

Jo - thats rubbish!! stupid MSE lol

    Hi All,

The wedding fair was okay, but could have been advertised more, it was an experience though!!

I did have time to squeeze my breakfast in, no way I was missing it as it is the highlight of the week:p

Funny, I was thinking about Bargainfinder as well, hope she is okay!!

    Speak tomorrow,
    SL x
  • Welcome Almar! Hopefully we can help you eat better, exercise more and thus save some money and ditch the lbs! :) Also can i say - even if you struggle, please keep posting, we r a lovely bunch and we really wont judge or put you down, we will however try our best to keep you motivated and spurred on :) Jo is great at replying to most people when she is on and no doubt will be on to say hey to u at some point :)

I had a total of 3 st i wanted to lose. Currently 12lbs gone so 2st 2lbs to go. The way we seem to work is it might be slower, but its the little steps to getting a better life style that make the difference, not a huge change to lose lots of weight quickly, but a method of trying to keep us on the right track for the long haul :) If we can do it, you can do it!!!!
  • Oh girls, you are just too lovely! I will stay and try my best! I was as naughty as possible this weekend but I think I'm going to be ok this week, might make myself a star chart counting down until christmas. It must be about 10weeks so even a pound a week is almost a stone. I'm not going to say two pounds a week as that is too much pressure. Baby steps!

I got my old tv out and have put it in my bedroom so i can do my davina dvd in my room instead of waiting until the living room is emtpy.

My pole didn't arrive which i'm really annoyed about as I'll have to wait until November now, as it's being delivered to my parent's house. Grrr!

I hope you all had a good weekend? welcome to the newbies! These guys are great! you can really count on them to be supportive and understanding!

Emmylou :rotfl: i am trying to type fast so i don't get timed out :rotfl: your weight loss is going great. I have dug out my dance DVDs, going to get some exercise done. I hate it. Taking Tara out later for a long walk too. You do soooo well with your walking. I'm soooo jealous, must get into it.
