    Good morning all,

Well it is pouring down here, so we will see how many customers brave the elements today!! I have been really bad this week, so next week will be turning over a new leaf time!! I'm going to get some soup made, I already have some in the freezer so will bring that out for lunches.

I'm doing a wedding fair tomorrow, I've never been to one, so it will be an experience if nothing else!!

Hope you all have a fantastic day.

OO a wedding fair whats that all about lynn. Dont think ive even heard of one.

do you think I should get a weighing scale, so I can set myself targets like some of you have?

I know another thing that would terrify me into losing weight - a full length mirror! I hate looking at myself in any mirror (don't wear makeup).

If you have not got any, i would advise against getting any. They rule my life, i am on them everyday sometimes twice a day. As Emmylou says, better to judge by your clothes your fitness levels and how you feel

Well done girls, you are all doing so well, I'm afraid I'm still in the dumps here, I've been staying away on purpse cos I'm so ashamed of myself, and I know you all must be losing patience with my emtpy promises to be good. This week I'v been eating sooo much junk and not even trying to stop myself! Fingers crossed I can get my dance pole Sunday and that might motivate me to get into a proper routine of excersize, I've had the davina dvds a week and not even taken them out of the box!
I'm going to see family this weekend and it will be lots of eating out and sweets, but I'm not going to try to be good as I never manage it when I go home and I'm sick of failing. I'm just going to enjoy myself and try again Monday. I'm sorry, I feel like I'm letting the side down!

    Welcome back Jo,
    xx

We dont judge in this thread CC, you know that. We are all in this together. Talk it out with us. I am here because I overeat and overspendthats why we all started this thread. I used to make huge promises and set up big target every Monday morning, not now. Never make yourself or anyone else a promise again. Instead say "I will do my best" thats all anyone can expect from you and what you can expect from yourself, just your best. Remember small steps and slowly does it. That way you have less chance of falling down. All for one and one for all.

Hiya Lynne, Now that my summer holiday is over, i am starting to look at chrismas. I usually do it all in a rush in December and end up buying things in a rush. Not this year, i would like to think I was all done by December.

Can you think of any way I colud look at some of gifts and jewelry in your shop ?? Seing how i am going to be spending on gifts i would sooo like to buy from your shop. How far are you from me again ?

    Hi Jo,

Probably the best thing to do is to try and figure out what you would like for everybody and what you would like to spend. Then I could take photos on my digi camera and email to you. If you don't like it, then we can start again. I should be starting to really stock up over this month, in preperation for Christmas. The busiest day of the year in here is Christmas Eve.

I've got a website, will PM you the address in case I am breaking rules. This was never fully up and running but will give you an idea of the sorts of things I've got.

I am in Glasgow, which isn't too far away, but can post you stuff if you want.

    Hi Jo,

It's an event where brides to be and future husbands 'shop' for their big day. I will be there with the jewellery, but there is also a photographer, wedding cars, kilt hire, florist, dresses, etc, everything you will need for a weddin. You don't get sales there and then but it is a good way to promote the business. I've never done one of these before, so will see how it goes.
