• Oh and Kmac, I thought you look slim in your holiday pics! I think that we are all just shaped differently - I bought a size 18 blouse the other day because I couldn't get anything else over me!! And I think even at my goal weight I will need a size 16 top, as I am quite heart shaped. If you are pear shaped, that's nothing to be worried about - it's just who you are...
If it is that you carry excess weight on your thighs, then try crouches - owch! lol
Personal challenge: Do without as much as possible to pay off £12k by 07/2009!!!:T
Bluejeans Challenge: Spend less - Eat less! Need to lose [STRIKE]4 [/STRIKE] 2.5 stone () then maintain until my concert in Dec!!
Cady's jam jar challenge.. how much will be in the pot?!

Budget: a mathematical confirmation of your suspicions.
• I just think its amazing what being on here has done to me. 6 months ago if I had needed a new laptop I would have just bought the Apple Mac without eventhing about it, now I'm weighing up the pros/cons, the cost, working out a budget etc etc... I love being a MSE-er :rotfl:

When i get paid on the 25th from my 2nd job I'm going to take £150 and use that to live from for the next month... everything else is just going to stay in my account and we will see just how much rubbish I'm buying.

I made my sis take the holiday pictures from a distance to make me appear slimmer :p plus its all about the way you stand

BF - Are we gonna start a book trading thread now that holidays have past? I've got so many books I can swap! xx
:heart2: Its 12 o'clock and I need your attention :heart2:

• Morning, I have had a disgraceful weekend! eaten so much junk!!! but it's a new week so new enthusism! I will be good and get back on track! if I don't please all yell at me!!

Emmylou, My lessons are £12 each but it's just in a little community hall miles away from me, after I practise a bit with my DVD I think I'm going to try a new club in my town which will be £16. I think £24 is a little steep, that's London prices! where do you live? I'll try to do a little digging for a good but cheap company for you.

Well done Kmac, that is very restraint of you! I want to join the book swap club!!

xxx
• CC - Liverpool. It was a thread that suggested a company that do lessons i got the link from i was shocked lol.
• How about Ioisis. As well as Pole Dancing they do Salsa, Belly dancing, Burlesque and Rope Dancing!
http://www.ioisis-poledance.co.uk/index.htm
I don't think it's always worth going to the big companies like Polestars and Polecatz, the smaller companies seem to have smaller classes and a more personal approach. But it's a good idea to go to a taster session first to see if you like the teacher and style of lesson. I do hope you start going too, it's so addictive!!
• http://liverpool.gumtree.com/liverpool/29/26824629.html just come accross this one on gumtree too :) Will have to see if anyone I know fancies going along with me, i know u can go alone lol i'd just rather not. Thanks for the links though - going to check them out now!
• I would love to start a book swapping thing, but would prefer it to be with people on this thread initially, as I think we have built up some trust - I dont think I would want to give total strangers my address!!

So:
Please e-mail me: beth.comps@yahoo.co.uk , if you are interested in joining in a book swapping 'venture'! Basically, I will co-ordinate and send you the basic rules etc, which will be something like:

Please include your true name and address, and the name of the first book you want to swap.
I will reply to you with the name and address of the person who you should be sending a book to.
Once you have sent it, within 3 days, you should receive one.
Please confirm by e-mail to me whether you have received your book, because if someone is not sending them, then they will be removed from the list.
As we all read at different speeds, reply to me when you have finished the book you have read and want another one.
I will tell you where to send the one you have finished.
At some point; your original book will land on your doorstep, at which point I may ask you to put another into circulation!

Please make the title of your e-mail: book swapping
This is so I can filter it!

I will set the first date to send out books as Monday 29th September, as this way I can co-ordinate with everyone who wants to be involved...

Does this work do you think?

• Emmylou, that post had a fun, easy attitude but I'm not sure I'd want to dance infront of those big windows!!
xx
• Afternoon everyone,

I've still not had any news re: the job, I considered contacting them but DH said to leave it until they contact me. No news is good news I suppose!!!

I have never been off the phone today, poorly has slipped into his old ways. He hasn't gone to work, he has been drinking all day. He is causing havoc, I thought I would need to close the shop and go home to deal with him as the 2 young sisters were in the house with him, my mum and dad are working. Our neighbour (high heid yin in AA) has been phoning back and forth and she thinks that he does not want to stop drinking. So there it is, he is going to drink himself to death by the look of things, the sad thing is that there is nothing that can be done about it. The neighbour's daughter is now talking to him, so just need to wait and see what goes on.

Well, on a cheerier note, I got the grass cut yesterday so that was good exercise. Will tackle some other jobs tonight I think. I am in training for the 4K challenge next year as this would help out big time with the debts I hope.

BF, I think your book swapping idea is brilliant, but i don't get the time to read much, I am on here all the time. I will keep it in mind though as I actually love reading and may get back into it sometime.

Speak to you all later,

SL x
• BF: Thats fab about the book swap, I'll send you an email and thats me started. :j Its good that they are mystery books being sent on, means we all get a taste of each others reading habits!!

Almost finished work for the day and off to rehearsals for my show. Should be fun.

I just bought my laptop :T I got a Sony Vaio one that has fast thingy mumbobbers and lots of GB memory, what ever that means... for £396 inc delivery AND cash back through pigsback so I've saved £400 on buying an apple... Still £396 that I could have saved but I guess I needed it.

On to having a few more NSD and then I'll be fine :rotfl:

Kmac xx
