Sounds Ace, I do love Birmingham to be honest, lived in Brighton for 6 years, so it took a bit of coming round to come back here, but now I'm here hubby and I love it.
Maybe we should do a houseswap sometime next year... pm me if you're interested! I'm leaving work now, so will chat with you all tomorrow! xxxPersonal challenge: Do without as much as possible to pay off £12k by 07/2009!!!:T

Hi ladies, I haven't had any choc yet but I did have a naughty pasta 'salad' for lunch that was all sauce and no nutrients, and tasted horrible, so that was annoying! I'm a little calmer now about not having choc for the rest of the week... as long as I don't think about not having any more biscuits either!
I don't suppose anyone lives in or knows suffolk do they? I have a wedding to go to in Sudbury and want a cheap b&b but can't find one for under £60.0 -
WTBAS - what village? Have I asked that before??
BF - meh im hoping i can stay motived to run by the effects it will have on my weight and shape. Thats for the push though
Good news update from meI might not have lost weight for the FOURTH SODDING WEEK GRRR BUT! i can now pull my size 14 jeans down without opening the button and zip hehe and i tried on a pair of size 14 trousers that had gotten way too tight on me and they r now nice and loose around the leg and a little more room around the waist. So hurrah, at least my shape is changing even if my weight isnt!

Hi Crazy:

Hope this brings something up, I'm afraid I'm a little way from suffolk!
Tell you a story - we are going to a wedding end of October, found Travellodge rooms for £19 each; then went home to ask hubby what he thought, came back the next day and they had gone up to £39 each!! GUTTED; should have just booked it shouldn't I!
Hope everyone is ok, and I'll speak to you all later xxPersonal challenge: Do without as much as possible to pay off £12k by 07/2009!!!:T

CC - http://www.sudbury.org.uk/Accom.php?class=HT1 these places might be of interest if u havent called them before? I must have been half asleep yesterday i didnt reply to your exercise comments - get the davina workouts! One of them is a 3 30 min work out DVD and it has a kick boxing style workout in there which is my fave!! But get the boxset of the 2 DVDs rather than just one - they work out a little cheaper each then and u have 4 workouts to choose from (the 3 30 min ones and 1 one hour one). But there is also the free get out and walk
a nice local park or a slightly more scenic walk to the shops or something
good luck!
BF - sods law! that would be what would happen me lol OR id book it and OH would find some reason why he doesnt want to go/stay in that hotel etc lol
So tiiiired today. Could happily go back to bed if i didnt have to look after Annabelle and do work (see what im doing haha - multi tasking...lol). Have to go to the council later today AGAIN to sort out the council tax for this house and my old one because they keep messing up my exemption certificate to the point I have been in to them 3 times, sent them one letter to provide them with copies off the certificate and they keep losing it... or the best one - they put it on another house down the street! anyways, yes need to go in again as they sent me a court summons!!! HELLO I DONT PAY COUNCIL TAX AND IF YOU DID YOUR JOB RIGHT WE COULD HAVE SAVED US BOTH A LOT OF TIME!! *and breathe* feels better to get that out lol0 -
Thanks for the links! you guys are so lovely! I think I'm going to go with Travelodge for £19, a bit of a way to drive but saving the pennies is more important at the moment. That is annoying BF, but I think it is always best to check with the OH, I'v got caught out booking and buying things prematurely before, keep doing the search though, cos sometimes they add more cheap rooms.
I think i'll buy that Davina DVD today, thanks Emmylou! Good luck with the Council, how annoying for you!

Hi crazy, you'll probably find the petrol is cheaper than the more expensive hotels, so it is worth it!
I was looking at a lovely few hotels for the weekend, thinking we could make a weekend of it; you know, romantic time attending his best mates wedding etc - but he thought it was better to save the pennies... I suppose he's right!! £80 for 2 nights is better than £180!!! (the hotel they're getting married at is £90 a night...!!)
But the good thing is that the £40 rooms are family rooms whereas the £20 were twin beds, so at least romance is not dead!!! lol
Besides, with the money we 'saved' , we've booked a hotel in London for £70 on new years eve, so we can go and see the fireworks in Centenary Square - something we've wanted to do for a while!! Woohoo!!Personal challenge: Do without as much as possible to pay off £12k by 07/2009!!!:T

Hey everyone!!
BF - Got your FB.. I've replied :j I've got all my pics up from holiday there as well so you have a have wee lookie at those when you get a chance.
Any news from anyone? What are the plans for the weekend?
I have a leaving party tonight, one of my very good friends is moving down to Englandshire so we are giving her a good ol' fashioned scottish send off, then tomorrow I'm working at my 2nd job in the avo (extra pennies) and having a relaxed night when I finish and Sunday doing the same. Might cook a batch of soup and a batch of spag bol for the freezer, I'm running low
How is everyone doing with the girly weekend saving? x:heart2: Its 12 o'clock and I need your attention :heart2:Debt at Aug 2008 : Bank of Scotland CC : £1605 :mad:Overdraft : GONE!:j:staradmin Debt free aim: Sometime in 2009:staradmin0 -
