Thanks for all your support re: job hunting, I would really like this one, so will do lots of swotting up on it when I get the brief through.
Icka, I am on facebook as well, I am the one with the holy name, you'll know what I mean when you find me, I am on crazychatters, emmylou's bargainfinders, Jo's and Tesscha's facebook pages. It's still a bit of a mystery to me, Tess sent me a sugary donut yesterday, and I got all mixed up and sent one to my DH, (He hates cakes:p ).
Jo says she thinks my Dh, has a sexy name, he's not looking too hot in his facebook photo, but looks better in the wedding one, (looks like a hobo in his facebook one).
Will come back later, have to pick mum up from bingo!!

Its very quiet here recently!! How is everyone?
I'm getting ready to go on holiday, 3 days and counting... woohoo. Looked out my bikinis night night and until I finish this diet I'm refusing to put them on.
I need to get a tan quick as well, my BF came over last night and made a comment about how pasty I was (hes a beach boy from USA so has a tan year round... SWINE). xxx:heart2: Its 12 o'clock and I need your attention :heart2:Debt at Aug 2008 : Bank of Scotland CC : £1605 :mad:Overdraft : GONE!:j:staradmin Debt free aim: Sometime in 2009:staradmin0 -
kmac - summer sun lotions are the best
I only use it on my face and top half as my legs are in trousers most days. Shocking the difference if i put my arms next to my legs now. As long as you rub it in well its pretty full proof on streaks too. I know how you feel about the bikinis, I was only the other night saying to OH ill never be able to wear one again the mess my tummy is in from having DD, not even sure id be happy in a swim suit with no sarong due to the stretch marks on my thighs from getting fat!
Im not off on a little holiday tooA weekend trip home! So will be heading to good old belfast on friday and leaving monday morning. Lots of visiting to do so wont be too relaxing in all honesty lol, just looking fwd to somebody other than me getting up with DD in the mornings as my mum, dad and sister love getting up with her lol. So 2 days of lie ins hurrah! Will have to make sure I get a night out too either to pub or cinema with some chums
Did a tesco order for this week and meal planned, so hoping that it will be a good week (providing im good at home) as the only naughties we got was in the form of a tub on ben and jerries lol. Sorry it slipped into the online basket and i didnt noticebut thats it

Hi all :hello:
Long time no speak!Sorry about that - work last Friday was a 13hr day(!!) then we went straight off for the weekend, got home after midnight on Monday (so straight to bed), day at first job yesterday (where internet access is restricted) and got home last night to find that our home internet access was unavailable, so this morning is the first chance I've had to catch up with you all! (And am at second job, so will have to make it quick...!!;)).
Anyway, my weigh in last Friday was terrible - I put on 3lbs!!! Eating and spending over the weekend was a bit dodgy, too, but am back on track this week and hoping to lose a bit of my gain by Friday.
Jo - sorry to hear about your friend. I think your reactions were perfectly natural, though, so please don't feel bad about them.
Emmylou - well done on the maintain...much better than a 3lb gain! :T
Catch you all later...best get on with some work now...:p

Good luck with the bikini Kmac, I'm sure you'll be fine! I have never owned one, which is for the benefit of everyone else present! lol!
Nevermind the gain this week Piglet, well done for getting back on track!
I hope some more people are around today!!

am here lol - went out for a loooong walk. Was out for about 1hr 30 but did go into a 2 shops so i guess it was a good 1hr 15 of walking with the pram. Feel really good for it actually
i just need to find a way to keep myself motivated with this exercise as i really do believe its the only way to get the weight of me.
tbh i wish i had lost more before i go home this week - my mum is FOREVER telling me how fat i am and commenting on ANYTHING i eat. Last time i was home if i had bread or pasta i was being told how all these carbs where making me fat and i need to stop eating them.... but i like them so no! Hopefully we will be so busy visiting everyone they wont have time to slag off my weight. TBH my mums nuts when it comes to weight, even when i was a size 10 she would make comments on how fat i was and what i ate (although she says she didnt, but im not the only one to remember it...) the only one good enough is my sister who is a size 6... in fact sometimes if i point out size 6 clothes (get this u will laugh) my mum will say "no thats a fat size 6, would be too big for gracie" a FAT size SIX?!?!?!?! whatever mother!0 -
oh dear, sounds like your mum has issues herself! That doesn't seem like a very peaceful holiday, but you sound like you have come to terms with it? I do hope you aren't taking the critisms to heart as noones opinions count more than your own.
Well done for the long walk!! You're right that excersize is the only way but I'm really struggling to do any! no excuses, im just lazy! need one of you to come here and poke me with a stick!

CC - well i guess the other way is better food control, but i always have wee slip ups lol so need the exercise to counteract it. Meh my mum won't change so no point thinking she will so i just have to tell her to shut up once she starts, but as hard as you try you do always take it to heart. As for no exercise, find something you actually enjoy, or a few things and rotate them to stop you getting bored
I do mine while watching tv in the house
