I quite like putting in a good sprinkling of dried oregano in with the dough when making. Smells great!

Like the cheese string idea. Might have a good at that...
  • Yummmm - herbs and garlic with cheese stuffed crust - sounds divine!

I must be stalking you jackie if you didnt even realise that I was here and on the family board (unless you are just saying that to put me off the scent!)
  • Dried oregano or mixed dried herbs are lovely in dough - wonder if I have any in the cupboard (will no doubt find out when I tackle that kitchen later)

I think I just didn't make the connection because we are talking about such different things :o I did realise it was a similar name though :o I put garlic in my dough too usually. Although I am a lazy get and buy garlic puree in a tube!

  • I try and keep my family moans and groans seperate from my desire to save money, be tidy, and generally be a better money saver - sometimes I feel that the old style board gives me a sense of order and routine - even if I am just reading about it and not putting it into practice.

I've merged this with our pizza dough thread as it's dropped down the board. Hope it turned out ok :)

I store pastry dough in a food bag in the fridge or freezer if I want to freeze it.

I know you asked about pizza dough, but assume it would be the same for pastry.
  • a plastic food box (like a lock box or tupperware will work as well.
