Thank you for your answers.
I bought a bread mix a few weeks ago as it was on offer at Aldi with a coupon from the paper. I use to make bread in the bread maker but haven't done it for a few years now. When the packet of bread mix was 30 something pence I picked a pack up, used it to make a couple of pizzas which went down very well at home and decided to do it again. Only this time I picked up a pack that said pizza dough.
I may get in to making bread at home again. The problem is that we eat it in big wedges and the weight piles on.
I'll add a little spread to the mixture. Incidentally when I made bread in the BM I never added oil or anything then. Just flour, yeast, a little salt and sugar and water I think from memory.
Thanks again.

Sainsburys pizza mix is 70p and makes one base, I get 9 bases out of 1.5kg of flour which was £1. Factoring in yeast (I last bought a tin for for arguments sake, say 6 sachets of years are 65p. You use one per 500g flour) that's
11p per base flour
10p per base yeast
21p per base and mine are deff bigger than 8"
Even adding in the cost of oil it still makes it cheaper to make your own. I do a batch, add sauce and then freeze them so they are ready when needed.Feb 2015 NSD Challenge 8/12JAN NSD 11/16
