Well the bag was £2.50 and the top £1.70 - last of the big spenders me:rotfl:I really need to sort out a new signature!0 -
Up reasonably early today;)
All the beds are stripped and 1st load is nearly finished. Lots of housework to get done today - luckily the place is quite tidy, so not a huge job!
Think I'm going to nip into town when the shops open. I have couple of bikinis that I bought DD1 to return and I fancy a look round the shops on my own -see if I can see any bargains:D
The Crohn's pain in my side is niggling today though, so not really full of energy - it's because I'm coming right down off the steroids, very gradually, but seem to have hit a level that doesn't keep the pain down. My doctor have the results of the scan - nothing dramatic shown he said, but couldnt say what this means for me, regarding surgery or new medication. So, waiting to hear from the hospital. Lord, this really is dragging on.
Anyway - I should crack on:pI really need to sort out a new signature!0 -
Evening:D
Nothing much going on here this week. E's ipod arrived today - the 2nd one....1st one never arrived and the idiot never replied to any emails...Paypal dispute opened now:o But she's very happy with it...all paid for herself:p
NSD yesterday...today nearly was but bought ex mil a 60th bday card when I was in the PO...nothing else apart from that. A pair of cropped trousers I bought on ebay arrived - they're perfect fit and look new, for a fiver I'm happy! Still have a vest (£1.04) and tshirt (£1.70) on their way - great for holiday:D
£19.50 just been paid from Quidco, so that'll go in the savings. I have about £90 left in my spending account and don't need to spend tomorrow - then TCs go in on Thurs, so will move that excess £90 to savings. Girls away with ex this weekend, at Centerparcs, so I'll have a cheap one. May go to see my sis, save me being home alone fri til Sun:rotfl:
Anyway, really tired....off for a lovely early night. I love being in bed when it's still light outside!:rotfl:I really need to sort out a new signature!0 -

When you pay the full price for a childs passport it is for ten years - but it expires after five years - and you then have to update just the photo. Also if you have an existing passport you dont have to get renewals countersigned.
Hope you manage to get a refund.0 -

Really? I have just paid full price for my daughters new passport and I gave them the old passport so they knew she had one? They never said I could just update the photo :eek:0 -
You have to update the photo if the child is under 12 - and renewal of child passports is £46, so not actually the same price as a full new passport, but when I bought the full passports 5 years ago I think it was about £50 each, now they're £70-odd.
So I updated E's photo as she's 10 and G hated her pic so we updated it even though she's 12 - would have cost the same even if we hadn't updated the photo.I really need to sort out a new signature!0 -
Hooray....started off July with a NSD:beer:
What a scorcher here...youngest gon to play in neighbours paddling pool and eldest off to see some pals...so peace for a bit.
Dinner is in the oven - meatballs with HM tomato sauce.
Going to do next week's meal plan now I think so I can do an online shop for delivery early next week. Must try harder with the Grocery challenge - I seriously went over last month....not good:o
Must pay girls gym club this week too - was due last sat. BUT, have got ex to agree to splitting it with me, well £92 is too much for me;) I *could* pay it, but he should share it I think, not as if he gives me much maintenance
Anyway, off to meal plan and sit down while girls out.I really need to sort out a new signature!0 -
Wow, I never knew that about childrens passports!! Our two will run out next year, I thought we had to pay for new ones, had no idea could just get new pics!! Thank you!
Well done on first NSD - I have joined that challenge this month, only aiming for 5, trying to be realistic to start with!!0
