As you say when you have been small it is quite a shock when you have a weight gain, the steroids do not help as they do contribute, unfortunately for you you are in a situation where you need to take them as they keep your crohn's manageable. MS did you have that glass of wine ? Tonight I have had a chocolate muffin, snickers bar and 3 glass of jacques  and wonder why I have a thick middle or as mogchops says 'lardy' which is the new name for my expanding middle . Anyhow I am now off to bed, keep strong and 21 days days to go.

Yep...I had a few glasses of wine last night:eek:
Had a quiet day today...again:rolleyes: Nipped to co-op and bought a baguette, reduced mince, mushrooms and wraps. I made a mushroom quiche this afternoon, so nibbling that this evening;)
I resisted a newspaper, so can call today an NSD as the spends have been added to Grocery budget.
I've dusted and hoovered most of the house (just my room I cant be bothered to do!) Actually I did whizz the hoover thro' it, just couldnt face dusting!
Kitchen and bathroom cleaned, lounge all lovely and tidy - until girls return soon!

I had a letter from HB yesterday - saying my income had gone up so they'd recalculated my benefit - was tax credits rise, I thought I'd told them about it wehn I told them my wages had gone up:confused: ANyway, I re-read the letter (3 pages of figures, very confusing) and it says award amount is zero? Now I'm worried I'm getting no HB ... gone from £80 a week to nothing, I doubt it, as my TCs only went up by £8 a week or so. I'll ring them tomorrow....but it's in the back of my mind so I'm not a happy bunny this afternoon - I went to bed for an hour to stop me fretting about it:p

I'm sure it's a mistake regarding your HB, try not to fret too much as stress is not good for you, as you say ring them tomorrow and fnd out what is going on. I actually fell asleep during the tennis and kipped for a couple of hours so have not done a lot today, downloaded turbolister and used it today, so much easier.

Letter from HB waiting when I got home from work today - new award amount....ooh must be pennies different from the last one:confused:
All that worrying yesterday for nothing:mad: I guess my TCs went up as I earned less than they expected, so HB hasn't changed.....what a pain getting that odd award letter on Sat when I couldn't ring them.

Anyway, panic over.....my money's all fine;)

Awwwwww thank you - I was really worried:o Thought they'd decided I'd tried to keep my increase in TCs a secret and were just stopping all my HB....I do let my mind get carried away sometimes!

So, all settled again;) Ex mil gave me halfthe gym fees on Sat, I must ring up and pay them now...shame her dear son couldn't give me the money, but hey - as long as I get it, I won't complain!!

Just a quick one - not quite an NSD yesterday - all I spent was £1. I gave it to youngest to share with her friend on the way home from school as a treat.
No spends planned today, just ebay postage. Fingers crossed.

Girls new passports arrived yesterday....we just need the tickets now! My sistr's came last week - so whereare ours?:rotfl::rotfl:
