We go on holiday on july 25th - so 5 weeks yesterday:j It's coming round fast now, I need to book th airport parking later, before it gets any more expensive. Cheapest is £38, for a week, mad:eek:
Yes Debidoodle, I'm taking steroids still, but coming down off them gradually. On a low dose, only 15mg, 3 tablets a day and it keeps the pain away. Still waiting to hear results of the scan which will then decide whether I go on a different medication or have surgery.
That's us just home from my sister's. We had a bbq last night, but didn't last long sitting outside, it was a bit chilly;)
Bit of shopping today with her - I took a few bits back and got a couple of cheap vest tops. Did a bit of food shopping which was £28, used sis's discount card so it came to just over £25. That'll last us for the rest of the week and I'll do an online shop or maybe nip to tesco Thurs or Fri.
Anyway, must go and get ironing done, dinner on in a while and tidy up. I'm very tired, need an early night!:DI really need to sort out a new signature!0 -
DD2's old Nintendo DS finished on ebay tonight - £65:beer: And DD1's old mobile went for £21, that's her money tho, but really pleased!
Dd2 and I nipped to town after school - got a bikini for eldest reduced to £4 and a light jacket for youngest that she's been eyeing up for monhts, but was now reduced to £12, glad we didn't buy earlier. Also had a bargain as I took 2 of the '3 for 2' things I bought online (school uniform) back to M+S....and got refunded the full price of the 2 items, making the 3rd item that I kept, free!!! Bargain:rotfl:
Eldest is in bed, with sore ear, it's not like her to go to bed beofre 10, so hope she's ok for school tomorrow:o
Not much else to report, off I go to read a pile of reading assessment stuff for school...oh joy;):DI really need to sort out a new signature!0 -

Brilliant news on the Ebay sales, also M & S refund. I love a bargain as does my DD I rarely pay full price for anything as get totally miffed when I see it reduced a few weeks later. DD and I have been clearing her bedroom today as she has finished UNI took her last exam last week. She has listed some books on Amazon as some books cost her £65.00 new, also listing some clothes on Ebay. I have inherited from her some brand new Vans pumps and a cardigan from New Look, I will pay her as she is low on cash as 2 weeks ago her boyfriend took her to New York as a surprise for her 21st. Hope your eldest daughter is okay and feels better tomorrow.0

Not much happening here - had an NSD, but I'm doing really badly on them this month....won't be getting my 14 in:o
Debating whether or not to do an online shop and have it delivered on thurs, when my Tax credits go in....either that or go to the shop this weekend and don't think I can be bothered with that;)
Using some stuffed pasta out of freezer for my dinner, making a tomato sauce to have with it and use the rest with sausages tomorrow for a pasta bake type thing, super organised me..:D
DD1 brought her 1st secondary school report home...very pleased with her, clever girly:T So that'll cost me a little pressie I think, but that's fine, they work hard at school:p
Ok, off for dinner.I really need to sort out a new signature!0 -
NSD today, just bread and milk bought to add to the grocery budget...which has gone over my £220:o Oh well....must try harder next month:D
The ebay buyers have both paid up now...so transferred £93 from my Paypal account. £21 is G's from the sale of her phone, the rest mine:p
We're all fed, nice and early....I'm really tired tonight, so an early night I think. Looking forward to a quiet weekend - girls with their dad...and again the weekend after as they're going to Centerparks with him and his family...it's ex-mil's bday....so nice weekend for them. And I'll have from Fri til Sun on my own.......
Tesco shopping coming tomorrow, just going to check I haven't forgotten anything from the order now.I really need to sort out a new signature!0 -
Well done DD1 on her school report and enjoy your weekend.0

Good evening:D
Well I don't feel I've donw much today:o Girls went with their dad at 1.30, I sat in the garden til 2.15 then decided I was bored, so I went off to the shops 20min away. I bought G a bag in New Look, she's payin though, she saw it on the website and I didn't want to pay postage so went there myself! I also took back some leggings I bought her in Peacocks, swapped them for undies she needs instead.
I also spent £7 in the fruit&veg shop, but got lots - one huge watermelon which will keep E going all week, she loves it;) So, haven't spent much at all, and ex gave me £40 he owed me from ages ago....bonus:rotfl:
Did get the bill for girls gym club though today - £92:eek::eek: That's for 10 weeks for both of them, up to start of Oct...still an awful lot though. Told G to decide whether she wants to carry on though - she always looks dead bored when I watch her doing it! Also as she's with her dad I told her to tell him she'll have to give up if he doesn't help pay...he said ok, he'll go halves:p;) Well, it's no more than he should do is it?
So...no housework done....but, I have just got about 7 things listed on ebay...well on turbo lister, waiting to upload to ebay in a while...I prefer my things to end a bit later in the evening!
Must get a list together of things to do tomorrow. I have worked out my new outgoings...now I'm with E-On and my water bill went down. I have my wages, housing benefit and child benefit into one account to pay all the bills. it used to cover it pretty exactly...now I am £80 up each month as the energy DD has gone down, as has water...fab:beer:
Mind you, DD1 has school trip to France or Germany this time next year and DD2 goes to the Isle of Wight ... so I'll need every spare penny to save for that.
Ok, off to get dinner on and do a list of jobs for tomorrow.I really need to sort out a new signature!0
