Totally agree MS their dad should pay half for the gym membership, good start with the NSD. Has your Crohn's settled down again and not too much pain?

Wow, I never knew that about childrens passports!! Our two will run out next year, I thought we had to pay for new ones, had no idea could just get new pics!! Thank you!

Well done on first NSD - I have joined that challenge this month, only aiming for 5, trying to be realistic to start with!!

Well as your 2 are under 12 (I think??) you'll have to get the photos updated AND pay the £46 each...bit much I think:rolleyes::rolleyes:
I really need to sort out a new signature!

It's not bad this week, thank you:D Gone back up to 3 of the steroid tablets a day, not 2 and it's much better - keeps the inflammation down, so no pain for me...just fed up being on steroids, feel I have a right round face (though probably only me noticing it:o)
Still....I feel well and that's the main thing!!:D

Nice quiet weekend for me - girls went off last night til tomorrow evening.

Today I was up at 8.15 - I did go to bed at 9 last night:D I've been out and bought girls some summer bits...shorts, vests, skorts and one pair of jeans for £20, bargain, all reduced! In Tesco I got £22 of food, £10 on some denim shorts for me, but they're going back, don't like them:p Also £5 on a plants for ex-mil's birthday on monday and £3 on a storage box for dd1's school books, save them piling up in the drawer in the lounge table. Then £7 on a few more bits on co-op....that's shopping for the week now. Asda shop was due on monday, but I've now changed it to thurs, when TCs have gone in...we have enough til then.

Lots of housework I should be doing but feeling really tired, had a lie in the garden but was hot in the sun so back in the house now!!

DD2's old mobile sold on ebay last night - for £43:eek: Excellent! Holiday spends for her all sorted then:rotfl:

Aaaah 3 weeks today we'll be all packed and ready to go:j

You did have some bargains from Tesco's, I expect you will be counting down the days for your holiday and the girls will be getting all excited. Excellent news on DD2's mobile all helps towards the holiday, enjoy the rest of your weekend it looks like it is going to rain here and is quite windy.

Oh yes girls are excited...won't be long now!
I feel like it's just a holiday....it's really silly, I've saved so much for it and *should* be so excited, but ... (and this will sound silly).. I feel fat and think it's going to spoil my holiday. Rationally I know I'm not overweight (I'm 9st6 and 5'4") but I've put on weight being on the steroids and as I don't exercise I have no tone to me at all, so feel very flabby.
Argghhh how silly is that, to worry about that and my holiday?

Just having a down evening I think....odd without the girls here, and feel a right saddo that has nothing else to do if they're not here! My motivation is lacking right now...I have lots to do but not in the mood to do it:rolleyes::rolleyes:

MS you are not being silly, I understand as I have put on weight especially around the middle. I do wear a bikini and wear a little bikini skirt as I find that this covers a multitude of sins. For over 20 years I was a size 8 (smoker) I kicked the ciggies and my weight crept up and I was then a size 10. It has now crept up again, I now find size 12's too big and size 10's a little snug .

From your posts you come across as a lovely person and you have come so far over the last 12 months and be very proud of what you have achieved, as you say a down evening as you are missing the girls. Grab yourself a nice glass of wine, light a candle and pamper yourself.

Awww thank you so much, that was a lovely post. I'm glad you know what I mean - when you're used to being small, to creep up in weight isn't nice. When I split with ex 2 years ago I was 8 stone, or under, and felt much better then, shame I can't stick at that;) I smoked then too, didn't eat much, so I know I wasn't very healthy - but I think I looked a lot better!!
I've never been very sensible with my weight, i like to be skinny, which my mum hates me saying:rotfl:

Awwww Milly, dont worry honey!! :grouphug:

5' 4" and 9 st 6 sounds pretty darned good to me. Though I can completely understand what you mean, it doesnt matter what anyone says to you, if you are not comfortable with it. I am 5'6", and currently hovering around 11 st 1, which according to the old BMI chart things, is just scraping inside my "healthy range". But I am still lardy round the middle!! I think I will have that flabby tum bit for ever, no matter how much cycling, exercising & dieting I do!

Carry on with that holiday countdown, I think you go the same week as we do - we go on the 22nd!! :j:j
