I didn't complain that would have involved finding another member of staff and that was way too difficult! I didn't tip though (which is a biggie for me).
Well we'll dodge that one then (if we go).
Not tipping is fine but all that happens is that the lazy barstewards moan about how tight you were. There should be a floor manager visible to customers at all times to complain to. Sounds like the floor manager on that shift needs a rocket up the jacksy! It can be a pain but, if complaints aren't made they won't be able to do anything about it. If, like for you, it is impossible to speak to someone or you think the person you wrote to isn't taking you seriously, write to the head office or to the manager. Things get fixed pretty quick, especially where there's so much competition. Plus you might get a few vouchers as a goodwill gesture. Retaining diners after a bad experience is near impossible in the convenience food restaurant business!
Sorry for the slight rant but I used to be on the other side, albeit in a 4* hotel where everything was, of course, perfect:p26.2.19/14.1.19: T MC 3629.26/3629.26 : VM 0% 1050/13876.59 : W 0% 100/1485 = 4409.26/18990.85 =25.17%28.1.19/28.1.19 Hubs 0% £400/£2,977 =13.44%SPC 2019 #073

Hello Everyone,
Day has started. Would like to go back to bed and start it again better. I'm waiting for my tax reclaim of nearly £1000, but the cheque has not arrived. So rang up as it has now been 3 weeks in waiting. They will send out another one, but it will take up to 3-4 week. Wonderful, I can now not afforf to live for the rest of the month. Have about £20 to feed my son and myself. Its another 2 weeks. Was my sons birthday yesterday, had to ask for money off my daughter to get him a presant. I need this money from the tax office, but everything seems to go wrong.
Anyway, hope your all okay. xx0 -
