Apologies in advance as this question is yet again pregnancy related (can you tell its my first one...?:o ). Do not read any further if you are eating your lunch:p

I'm 10weeks (in 11th) and the sickness seems to be worse this week to the point where I'm gagging, if not actually bringing anything up. Is this normal. I even gagged when cleaning my teeth last night:confused:

I've tried ginger tea, ginger biscuits, dried crackers, sea sickness bands, plain water, plain toast and everything else that seemed to be doing the trick before but no luck:confused: .

It'll be just my luck that my sickness kicks in just when its supposed to be getting better:p :o

And here's me thinking I'd pretty much got away with it all. Sigh :(

mine kicked in at around 9 weeks in full force and ooh did I suffer. I even went for accupuncture to try and ease it. In the end it just went at about 13 weeks. You may well only have it for a week before it eases off. None of the anti sickness stuff, ginger, seabands etc worked for me. All I can suggest is nibble all the time on anything non acidic. I went through a few boxes of ritz crackers.

Thanks everyone. Between the nausea and tiredness I haven't been much fun to be around this week and work has been a real chore. I can hardly keep my eyes open by 4pm:p Goodness knows how I'm supposed to cope over the next fortnight. We've got a huge job on which will mean working until 8pm every night plus Saturday and Sunday and I have to fly down to London this Tuesday to give a presentation (with people I will first meet on Tuesday night) on Wednesday, fly straight back to Glasgow Wednesday lunchtime, back to the client and work until 8pm if not later. I think it might just kill me:eek: :o

Sorry to hear you're feeling rough Lucifa. If it's any consolation, mine went at 14 weeks with all 3 of mine. I was still working in London with my first and had to carry a plastic bag with me at all times as I never knew what was going to trigger it. Sometimes I was even sick part way through my dinner then sat back down and finished the rest - it's very odd. I was also sick on trains, tubes, pavements, phone boxes (ok.....that one was drink related - not when I was pregnant).

It will pass although I remember what it was like. I felt rough from dawn till dusk then one day I woke up and mid morning it dawned on me that the sickness had gone. It was as sudden as that.

I'm definitely looking forward to that day then!!!

What plans for the weekend people?

We've got an Ikea trip to do and I might try and persuade Hubbles a wee jaunt to Silverburn (big shopping complex) for a couple of hours is a good idea. There's a big Tesco attached to might pop in there for weekly shop rather than get delivered and see what clothes look good. For the rest will just be relaxing, pottering in kitchen and knitting bits of baby clothes and hopefully popping on here before 2 weeks of madness (should have connection at client so may pop on for 5 minutes at lunchtime but I think my bronze star medal will have to wait until August :( )
