Thanks everyone. Between the nausea and tiredness I haven't been much fun to be around this week and work has been a real chore. I can hardly keep my eyes open by 4pm:p Goodness knows how I'm supposed to cope over the next fortnight. We've got a huge job on which will mean working until 8pm every night plus Saturday and Sunday and I have to fly down to London this Tuesday to give a presentation (with people I will first meet on Tuesday night) on Wednesday, fly straight back to Glasgow Wednesday lunchtime, back to the client and work until 8pm if not later. I think it might just kill me:eek:
Lucifa - have you told your boss you're pregnant yet? seems a lot to expect of you. and if you don't slow down now will you be expected to work similar hours when you come back from mat leave?:eek:Mortgage OP 2025 £7050/7000Mortgage OP 2024 £7700/7000

Good point Skint......
This weekend I will mostly be deciding whether to go BR or embark on a self-managed DMP.
I'm sure others have much more exciting things to do though.....YOUR = belonging to you (your coat); YOU'RE = you are (I hope you're ok)
really....it's not hard to understand :T0 -

Its a 2 week blip. Normally I'm pretty 9 to 5 but this is a big job with a really tight deadline which the client keeps moving forward because they want to earn their performance bonusses (don't like paying our fees though) and we've no extra staff to allocate (there's essentially 2 of us reviewing the tax provisions of 50+ companies across 4 sub groups:eek: in 7 days:eek:   ). To be honest the learning curve is so steep an extra body is likely to hinder with the time scale we've got.
I hate audits as it is. I'd much rather prepare a comp from scratch than review what someone else has done. Especially where they use 10 schedules where 1 would be just as effective!26.2.19/14.1.19: T MC 3629.26/3629.26 : VM 0% 1050/13876.59 : W 0% 100/1485 = 4409.26/18990.85 =25.17%28.1.19/28.1.19 Hubs 0% £400/£2,977 =13.44%SPC 2019 #073

Two weeks is manageable then Luc but just make sure there's not another two weeks next month and the next and so on... you need your rest.
I went to Silverburn a few weeks back and was v disappointed - not that many shops and service in the restaurant we went to was appalling!
I'm off to Glasgow tonight and driving...arggghhh! during rush hour too...
Good luck with your decision Suzy. xMortgage OP 2025 £7050/7000Mortgage OP 2024 £7700/7000

Hmm - just fancied a change from Braehead. What restaurant did you go to? I hope you complained if it was that bad!26.2.19/14.1.19: T MC 3629.26/3629.26 : VM 0% 1050/13876.59 : W 0% 100/1485 = 4409.26/18990.85 =25.17%28.1.19/28.1.19 Hubs 0% £400/£2,977 =13.44%SPC 2019 #073

I wasn't sure if I should post it or not but it sounds like a make of icecream...food was fine but service was rubbish.
I didn't complain that would have involved finding another member of staff and that was way too difficult! I didn't tip though (which is a biggie for me).Mortgage OP 2025 £7050/7000Mortgage OP 2024 £7700/7000
