Friday 18th July *Daily Chat*

Morning Lovely Peeps:wave:

:j Its Friday:j

On my own at work today as everyone else is either out on a course or gone to see Kylie  Nice quiet skive of a day for me then:D

I am looking forward to the weekend as OH has promised me a new phone for my >>>>>> BIRTHDAY TOMORROW <<<<<< and we are going out for a nice meal somewhere.

Weighed myself this morning and I am down from 9st 7lbs to 9st 5lbs so I am pleased about that:T

(((Hugs))) for those who are struggling and :j for the workers who celebrate Fridays as I do:D

Have a good day Y'all.
But these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.

Oh that's such a lovely first post for the thread Louise. Many happy returns for tomorrow in case I don't have time to post.

Well done on your weight loss - 2lbs is a decent amount (wish I could). I usually love Fridays too, but not feeling brilliant today....will start my own thread rather than depress those who post on the daily chat.

Even though it's looking a bit overcast today, I hope everyone has a good day.

    :hello:Hello and Good morning everyone:hello:

It feels like ages since I was last able to say hi to y'all; it's just been so manic at work; thankfully the students had their clinical exams yesterday - today my office looks like some kind of bomb went off in it but the exams are over (until resits in September / October) my next work stress is pulling together a timetable ready for next academic year... which starts on 4th August:eek:

We went to Butlins for my birthday- was nice just to get away. Spent way too much (it rained and i had to buy a new coat and some shoes otherwise I'd have been soaking wet all weekend - that's my excuse and I'm sticking to it.;)

Might not get on again today but if I don't I hope everyone has a really good day.

Have a special (((Hug))) just for you Suzy. Sorry you are not feeling good today. You wont depress us Hun, feel free to vent.

On the weight loss I have been trying really hard this week so I am pleased with 2lb off, althought I cant see from where:confused: as my playdoh tummy still resides:rolleyes:

Suzy - I'm serious. I was determined that it would be nice weather all weekend so packed only strappy tops, shorts, skirts, sandals and a sundress. It was either buy a coat to stay warm and dry or stay in bed to stay warm and dry (and that wouldn't have built me a sandcastle or got me paddling in the sea:o).

((Suzy))) hope your ok, peeps don't mind you posting on the daily post about it, everyone has a moan at some point.

Busy busy day here for me today. We are off on holiday (our free housesit for a friend in devon) so have seriously got to tidy our house from top to bottom and pack.

note to self...I am gong to devon not spain, pack wellies, raincoats, jumpers. Comes out of the bubble of dreaming of evenings sat on the veranda sipping pims reading a book in the evening sunshine!
