It does all seem to be hitting you in one go.
Sorry to hear about your dad. And your Mum for that matter. I can appreciate you feel the need to spend as much time with her as possible but if you feel better surely you'll be a better companion for her? Have you got any other family who could spend time with her when you're not available.
As for the OH and son, it'd be real easy for me to say cut them both loose sitting here on my high horse but I can also appreciate these things are complicated. You could try putting the rent up? Your tax position can be affected if HMRC decide you are charging a non-commercial rate of rent just because the tenants are connected to you personally.
I see from your sig that you're in Dorset. Is there a park or something nearby where you can take yourself off for a walk for 15-30 minutes just to get some time to yourself? You might find the additional exercise helps lift your mood and energy levels too

Because my mum lives in Bistol with the rest of the family, it means I can't just pop over for a bit but have to go and stay, and because I only get 2hrs off in any 24, I only have time to pop to the flat to pick up mail, check it's not too filthy and do anything else needed which means I tend to walk about 2miles aday rushing around so I'm not late back to work.
I think one of my main probs Is I'm a fixer so always talk myself into helping to fix their probs which is a finacial nightmare, perhaps I shouldn't be let out ehlost 3stin 4mnths GC nov£90/£51.65 July£100/£97.67 Aug£90/£18.59LBM Nov05 Loan £4910.65 Paid April07 sealed pot challenge#256Nov06 CC £2,590.56 Paid aug07 + Savings07/08 Night Owl 22#Mortgage £87,000/£84,000/ £82,261.00/£81,785.30 £80,268/£75402.00/£71229.15 DFW NERD 987 Long Haul member 125 debt free 24th aug 070 -

afternoon all. Back from work to face an OMG OMG OMG OMG email from ebay to say 'confirmation of your id change' and 'confirmation of your email address change'
I've just spent almost 30 minutes on the live help getting it sorted. Luckily this bloke in China who had changed my id and email hadn't got around to listing or buying anything - he only changed it at 11 this morning. Problem for me was I've had my ebay id so long (10 years) I couldn't remember some of the answers to prove it was me!!! It was stuff like - you used another email address at one point - what was it?! I reeled off a few ancient ones but none matched.
Anyway, we got there in the end and my account is now back to me and I have a new password. I also had to change my yahoo email password in case they took my email address as well!!
Phew..........at the end of the conversation he asked if he could assist in any other way......I asked for a stiff vodka to calm me down......:rotfl:
Horrible feeling. So glad I caught it before it got any worse.
He said he thought it was either having an easy password (not a chance - it's a very random word) or replying to a spoof ebay email - again, nope!"Stay Wonky":D
