I have a friend who has popped to France today and is bringing me back 2 x 3 litre boxes of rose wine. They should be back by now, think I need to ring to check they are back and I can go and get it - last time I got 2 boxes and a bottle for a fiver and it was all drinkable!!

I love that drinks photo, certainly makes my mouth water!
I am just wasting time until my driving lesson in an hour, can't wait! I am really enjoying it at the moment, I changed instructors recently and it's like a breath of fresh air - positive and enthusiastic rather than dreary and tiresome. And I go again in the morning :j if only it wasn't so expensive _pale_0 -

just a pity I haven't a few DFW mates to share it with - it would be lovely for a few to come round.
Just give me a bit of a heads up though - the bathroom's a disgrace!
I was looking forward to Monday being almost the first Monday off since starting my p/t job in March. Since then I've done 10 Mondays teacher training, a Monday being a model for a girl on her hairdressing assessment and then last Monday at a teaching assessment for someone who was ill on the day she should have done it.
However, there was a note through the door from the gas people.
On Monday, my gas goes off at 8 in the morning and will be off all day  they are putting a new fitting to the house and
"it may be necessary to excavate within your property and/or be necessary for some carpets or floorboards to be lifted to replace existing steel pipeworks."
I have concrete floors...........   Anyone want to predict the level of mess?
I am hoping they can do it without going through the house. the gas meter is next to the front door and directly out onto the driveway. Digging that up and then re-instating will be a pain but if they have to dig in the house as well "Stay Wonky":D
