YAY!
I'm so glad you had a good time.
Ive had a pretty ok couple of days.
Getting excited about my shopping trip on the 10th, OH and I agreed that I could let my hair down with money, but its all cash, so not increasing the debt. I know I could pay it off the debt but I just want (like I said before) to have a day of being care free and we figured its cash to hand, and OH just wants to see me smile i think.................... and I bet I wont find a single thing I like LOL
Have found out we now have xmas bonus scheme at work, and basically if I do 25% increase on my targets for a 12 week period till 27th Dec, I get £2k!or if I do 10% I get £1k, or just achieving the targets get £500...
Marvellous! Now if only people would spend money in my shop LOLWealth is not measured by currency0 -

Morning all
I have been feeling quite a bit better these past couple of days. Part of me feels like it almost happened to someone else, but maybe it was me who was someone else before if thats makes ANY sense?! LOL
Just getting through the days...
Got some money bits to organise today, OH had transferred £500 into our debt repayment account on the 18th but its still no transferred!?
Ruddy Abbey.... so now Ive got to withdraw £280 from my account, go into the other bank and physically pay it in over the counter so none of the payments bounce.
I cant believe that its taken that long.... but its just showing as pending.. so hes got to go and see the bank on his lunch.
So I need to do that, and then we need to pay the extra spends off the credit card when OH comes home and we're using his wages for the debts and my wages for the household bills ad food.
On the topic of the xmas bonus it would be fantastic to get that. I have already told my team if I get anything I will take them out (as its only the managers that get anything) unless the company give us money per head for an "office party", they did the 2 years previous but a lot changed this year so who knows.
getting the 2k is a bit of a stretch I think... requires my store to take something like £70k between now and end of december..... and we're only small but hey positive thinking and buying all my xmas presents from there might help!
Ufortunately Ive also got to go into my store today as well (even though its my day off). I think I mentionned it before but the company put 3 shop leases on the market and of course some woman has decided she wants mine. Overall though she is being a nightmare, se told my staff she had bought it, so they panicked, my company are telling me she hasnt, and personally i just feel like something fishy is going on! LOL, but this woman now wants to view the basement area, and I dont want my staff to have to deal with it, so Ive got to do that a 12....
ARGH! Life is just such a drain sometimes...Wealth is not measured by currency0 -

How did you get on with your cleaning Belle?
I need to seriously do mine.. HOWEVER (and this is a reasonable excuse I think) we've got a damp/mould problem in our flat and the building firm (its a new build) are coming round (following call from our letting agent) to have a look, so I didnt want to clean all the evidence off.... but its really horrid, our bed is damp, got mould growing on the backs of chest of drawers, my shoes in the built in wardrobe are going mouldy etc etc....
ARGH!
On plus side, having another ok day, did lots of work so felt ultra productive. Got to sort out money though! Since this debacle with transfers I need to get all the accounts balanced out so we know where we stand etc.
And we re-calculated our snowball last night and we're going to use £600 from OH's wages to use on the debts as our minimums, plus some overpayment, and then my wages for rent, household bills and food, and that leaves both of us with some money for ourselves. I think its important for us both (esp after everything) to feel like we're not solely living to pay off debts, we can have a life outside it all.
Part of me does feel guilty though because if we were tighter then we could pay more off and clear it quicker, so part of me feels ashamed we're not doing all we can...
But anyway after recalculating, at £600 a month we're got 43 months to go! Which is years feels like ages LOL but I think counting down the rounds of payments, mentally, is more motivating, so 43 rounds to go....

So the numpty from the builders came round this morning, 45 mins late (idiot point no.1), no apology (idiot point no.2) and then proceeded to tell me that we had condensation (idiot point no.3)... I then said yes and we've got a damp patch on the wall, all my stuff is going mouldy in the wardrobe, the back of my headboard on my bed is mouldy and the backs of my bedside cabinets, to which he replied "open the windows" (idiot point no.4!)
I swear Im surrounded by idiots some days.
Anyway its cleaned it (well done, coz I couldnt have managed that myself) and wiped what looked suspiciously alike to fairy liquid over the window frames, and has slapped some stain guard on the damp patch on the wall and ever so politely opened the windows for me (yet again, that would have been beyond me)!!!
He then phoned his H.O about the curtains, and they said we should get them laundered and then send them the bill and they will sort it out. However in general chit chat with Numpty, they are going to be expensive to get laundered, double lined, floor to ceiling and also have suede panels. And Numpty pointed out, I'll get them done, send them the bill and they'll say it was too much and wont pay out..... Honest of him I guess!
Im tempted to send them the curtains!
He didnt say anything about the stuff I am going to have to replace, aside from "try washing it"..... I'd like to see him try wearing a pair of pants that have had mould in unspoken places!
God I am so irritated, I know he's not the big wig that can answer my questiosn but basically I would like to know whose gonna pay for all the stuff we've lost/had to replace. I dont see why I should have to?! Am I being harsh? Any advice greatly appreciated!!! LOL
On a more positive note, still feeling ok, although couldnt bring myself to read one post as there was quite a lot of mention of pregnancy etc... but I just walked away from it and came on my own diary to vent about the Numpty, and take my mind off it.
Still not got myself organised with what monies need to go where.
Was meant to go on a shopping spree with my cousin next week but I may have to cancel as somehow my monies arent adding up in my head so Im not sure I will have the cash..... god I need to get my head together and work out what needs doing.
Had to arrange to have today off work as Numpty came round so got the whole day to myself and I really want to have a blitz of the flat, get it organised, tidied and cleaned, but where to start.... maybe another cup of yummy vanilla coffee will provide the answer.....
Oh and one payment cleared so far, will update signature when theyve all gone!Wealth is not measured by currency0
