Hello Everyone,
Just wanted to say thanks to everyone for their messages and support over the past week or so. It really helped me.
Thankfully I'm coming over the other side, physically and emotionally. DH has been fantastic with me, and been the greatest support I could have asked for.
Ive had the week off work and its helped me cope with the physical side of things, and emotionally I am feeling a lot stronger. I feel like I've missed one aspect of the grieving process, self blame, that or maybe my method of coping is to be rational, and absorb the medical information and hold that as gospel.
Debts, housework etc have all taken a back seat but I need to get back on track with those, and start living and starting a new.
DH and I have decided to try again in a while when we both feel ready, so inbetween then and now, its going to be about healing, love and getting the money situation improved and building a healthier lifestyle.....
I think those things which have a definitive results are going to be a lot easier than the internal ones.
But the positive is, am on the mend.Wealth is not measured by currency0 -

Its normally just a good old natter with me anyway!
I feel a lot better now the physical aspect is behind us.
We both now want to make some greater in roads into the debt and making our lifestyles a lot healthier, cutting down on stress and anxiety (especially in my life) for nxt time.
Positives (which im trying to find every day!) is that OH will be getting a pay cheque at the end of this month, i should hopefully get the £60 tax man rebate which is going straight on my credit card, and I've still got £120 in my bank account to last till nxt friday. So maybe we can manage an extra £50 to something.... that or I'll get my haircut as its in desperate need!Wealth is not measured by currency0 -

Im such a ditherer about getting my hair done LOL
I had it cropped quite short and its grown out quite a bit but I want to grow my hair, but it needs something doing to it so it doesnt lookl like a mat of nothingness!
in a bid to feel all righteous and healthy I got my eyes tested yesterday and was prescribed glasses because of the work I do, and was told I had very large pupils and a perfect cup!? Whatever the hell that translates to!
Anyway collected them today, and got 2 pairs (BOGOF) and all together cost me £145 (not overly mse i know!), feel a bit better for that though.
First day back at work as well which had its moments but all in all was ok, got plenty to keep myself occupied which is good.
Also got a plan to go out for the day on the 10th with a lovely super camp Gok Wan wannabe so that'll cheer me up. Is nice to have things to look forward to i think....
Nothing much money wise to report aside from the spectacle spend and will be doing the food shop tonight.... hopefully keep that to around £60..
Hope everyone is doing well xxWealth is not measured by currency0 -
LOL i did the same got it cut short then spent about 2 years growing it back, then had it cut short again haha!!!
well your day out sounds fun!! i'm goin food shopping today so gonna try and be sensible i dont mind spending a fair bit as long as i get plenty, gonna aim for under £100 but this is to last about a monthbecause if i dont my OH will just buy take aways all the time so its worth investing in some decent shopping.
have a nice dayx

Food shopping wasnt too bad, £62 but I did let OH get some wine (3 for £10) as he hasnt spent anything since he got his job and he's been really good with me and I felt he needed a bit of a treat.
Your OH sounds just like mine with food as well.... if its not tasty then he wants take away, he cant just have a make do meal, its got to be a fully fledged affair.... at least he's getting healthier in the food he'll try when I am cooking so thats something....Wealth is not measured by currency0 -
well we spent just over £70 so not to bad the freezer is full and i didnt once say to OH how much is that! cause when i do he throws a strop and says how tight i am lol!!!
hope everyone has a lovely day***** on the road to debt freedom *****
