Hello!
Doing ok, had a busy day at work and still trying to get this damp issue sorted out.
Got invited by my hairdresser to go and do some modelling for them, so getting my hair dyed for free next thursday, not bad!Wealth is not measured by currency0 -
Hi Bella, was freezing here today if that makes you feel any better, apparently tonight its going to drop to 2 degrees..... ARGH!
Just got home from going out with my work lot for a drink and munchies, the area manager who was visiting my store paid for it all as well which was nice and unexpected so bonus there!
Ive still not got myself sorted out with money and I really do need to get everything worked out, so everything balances.... i just cant get my head around it all which is bugging me!!!!Wealth is not measured by currency0 -

Considering the last time I had my hair coloured it cost me £110! Getting it for free is top!Wealth is not measured by currency0

I used to have mine done monthly at around £100, god knows why I am in debt :rotfl: haven't had it done now for over a year so I am more or less back to my natural colour which believe it or not I quite like :rotfl:Proud to be dealing with my debts - DFW No: 712

If you spend so long away from your natural colour, then it almost seems like a new colour when it does come back... Im quite liking mine at the moment, but I would like to go a bit darker and richer for winter, its quite dark blonde with honey highlights, id like a more caramel colouring...
Had a bit of news... well an offer should I say today which Im considering... but Im just not sure... hmm cryptic eh? LOL
Banking seems to have gone belly up this weekend, in two different banks my DD's avent paid out on selected accounts ARGH!
Its doing my nut.....
Have tried working on a repayment plan of £620 if we can find the money, which would make 41 payments so just going thru the budget to see where we can squeeze that from!Wealth is not measured by currency0 -
Very cryptic and now I am intrigued..................
Is that 41 payments till you would be debt free?Proud to be dealing with my debts - DFW No: 712

yeah 41 till debt free
Basically DH would love to get laser eye surgery so he can get into the fire service, its the only thing he failed on. Can get in to have it done in 2 weeks and by the time his eyesight test comes round for his recruitment he'll have had the 12 month healing time (stipulated by fire service)... he wants to apply to London Fire Brigade .
Im more than happy for him to have it as I know it will pay for itself by the time he gets in and training on 25k....
But its just finding the money in the first place. as its expensive....
Payments are deferred for a year and then 24 months interest free. Which is something!
Now my mum offered to pay for it, or she offered to write off the money i owe her (currently 4.5K)....
I'd rather her not give us the money because then Im going to feel like i owe her 8k.... so writing off what i owe her seems really reasonable but I dont know why but part of me just feels like we should be doing it all ourselves now we're married etc....
ARGH! am i just being stupid by even thinking about the offer?!Wealth is not measured by currency0 -
It's a tough one isn't it.
I have had similar with my parents.
Obviously hubby getting his eyes done and into the Fire Service will have a huge impact on your lives and is his dream job. So I must admit I would be tempted.
I understand not liking to take help from your mum. Maybe rather than writing it off you could agree to pay £x amount back once hubby is in the force and earning the good salary.Proud to be dealing with my debts - DFW No: 712
