ng started to work again.
One quick question.
I may want to use this next year for an annual trip i do to ieper, belgium. This is not listed in the uk priceline.. is there any way i can type in the city myself?
There is BUT TBHO PL do not have hotels in Ypres. (Neither do Hotwire)
To type in a city your self you have to choose either USA or Canada as a destination.
The you get a field thats says OR "Enter a city name"
Input the name here and you get options to search the whole Db of PL hotels.0 -

You will have to use a different email to create a new account on the UK site, but no you will not have any problems.0 -
I'm trying to find a hotel in Jamaica on Priceline but I can't find any of the most popular resort areas on the priceline.co.uk site e.g Montego Bay, Ocho Rios. I don't have the same problem on priceline.com site. I'm looking for a resort in Montego Bay. Can you tell me if I can use the US site please?
Also... Priceline says in it's important information that "The hotel that is selected may or may not be one that you have seen during a hotel search on priceline." I get this but I wondered how often Priceline will give a hotel that doesn't come in it's main searches?Snootchie Bootchies!0 -

If you select US, then in Enter City type Montego Bay you should get some options - there are three zones - Montego Bay Oceanfront - All Inclusive, Negril - All Inclusive, and Ocho Rios Oceanfront - All Inclusive.Gone ... or have I?0 -
Fantastic. Thanks dmg24!! This helps for the NameYourPrice section. I was thinking... do you think it would be cheaper if I booked via the US site?
I'd also like to look at fixed/disclosed price listings. Unfortunatley I can't seem to find hotels in Jamaica in the general search on the home page so I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong. Works fine for me on the US site.Snootchie Bootchies!0 -
Further to my previous post...
I checked Birdman's guide so i just need to compare and contrast the different sites.
i called priceline and they said they didn't know why Jamaica wasn't coming up in a general search from the home page but the most likely reason was this was perhaps not something that was offered to the UK consumer market.Snootchie Bootchies!0 -
Im a first time priceliner and just wondering if the taxes and fees added on to the cost include the 5% city tax in Amsterdam?0

Sorry, only just seen this post - AFAIK the prices will not be any cheaper on the US site, plus you are likely to get hit with conversion charges if you go down this route.
The normal hotel prices don't tend to be overly competitive, so I wouldn't worry if you can't access them.lookoutapiano wrote: »Im a first time priceliner and just wondering if the taxes and fees added on to the cost include the 5% city tax in Amsterdam?
I don't know for sure, but I would assume they are, as the equivalent in NYC is included. I would give them a call to confirm (and let us know the answer!).Gone ... or have I?0
