Sky HD for £105 inc instal for existing customers!

Well we got the hd today, lovely jubbly, but they took the old sky + box away with them.

Is that right??

Thanks, have rung sky and they've told them to bring it back.

Also got another issue in that my husband's ipod which was on the window sill by the front door has disappeared since. I've questioned the kids and they all seem innocent, which only leaves the sky installer or his son who came in with him. Can't really go accusing, don't know what to do. But now that they've taken the sky + box I'm even more suspicious.

We had a large reel of cable by our front door ( belonging to an electrician who had been working in the house ) and it disappeared when we had sky fitted !!

Did you ask for the reason the installer gave for taking the box?

Can I ask if he came in a Sky van or was he a subcontrator?

We getting Sky +HD installed on Wednesday with the Sky+ box to go upstairs and the 'old' Sky box that is currently upstairs is ours...will be watching like a hawk now!

Those who want free HD dont forget the first freesat HD boxes come out in November and HD is free okay maybe not as good as sky but a lot of channels nonetheless. Apparently you can use your old sky dish but you will need a twin LNB for dual channels

I got HD installed today too and the guy asked what I wanted done with the Sky+ box, I told him I was selling it on ebay.

Hopefully I will get at least £50 for it, this one is finishing soon so will see how much it goes for:

Subcontractor working in Kent. Funnily enough Sky said he would ring me to organise bringing it back, but he hasn't.

I didn't realise he'd taken it until after he'd gone. We had family over and it was mayhem.

We're almost certain they've nicked the ipod too, so keep your valuables out of sight!

They have taken the Sky+ box, the robbing git, no doubt he is selling it on :mad:

I got £55 for mine BTW, i would contact the police about the Ipod

I would also ring back Sky and mention you will contact the police if the box isnt returned, it is theft at the end of the day

these came out a while back now i bought one from comet for £120 but sent it back the next day as there was only bbc hd at the time and all it was showing was tennis so thought is was a waste of money think their is more channels now though for free.
Picture is good.
But it was the first one that came out without the hard drive built in.
