Nice - but for cheaper i'd get a higher spec Windows based laptop - guess it depends if you like cheap old apple over the likes of sony! I will stick to my Vaio me thinks - statistically blows most others out the water, as with mac's :D:D

So did you do this all online then or visit a dell shop (is there such a thing lol)?

Mate my current laptop is high spec however it still doesn't run how a mac does! Mac starts up and ready to use in something like 10seconds shuts down in 4 and you get NO viruses and should it develop a fault, you go straight to the store and get it looked at, none of this send it away for 6 weeks rubbish. The customer service is brilliant! Pop into an apple store and ask someone to show you a mac, have a little play and you will change your perception

I did it online but had to phone up to sort the finance.

Why would you go to a DELL shop for an APPLE computer??

I agree, Mac's really are the nuts. Smooth, fluid and logical.

You have to play with one and get to know it to really appreciate the difference.

I still have a cheapo Toshiba laptop but just as soon as I can afford it I shall have an iMac ;)

I've had my Tesco credit card open for about 1 and a half months and it isn't appearing on my Experian credit report.

Tesco have not updated Experian since 6 Dec 09, this would've been November update, so your account should be appearing this month.

    Hello all

Just had a minor update to post #1:
    • added some more card brands next to the relevant issuers
    • added Northern Bank and Allied Irish Bank to bank accounts and credit cards (would appreciate anyone who has applied to them to post up search / report details)
    • added 'motor finance' section, any new additions to this section gladly received
    • checked all listed products are still available (they are!)
I recently applied for and have now received an Amex Express Rewards card and as current card holder was not credit searched, just an unrecorded enquiry and an ID generic check. Also applied for Next Directory and Tesco Loans and both only searched Equifax.

As ever any new information is always welcome, help me keep the thread alive and up-to-date.

I do hope the thread remains useful to MSE'rs :)

    Regards
